In 2018 I packed my Chicago life in a bag and was on the next flight to LA. I knew this wasn’t going to be easy, but with a heart full of dreams nothing was going to get in my way. In a short period of time,I started to build a name for himself in Orange county. My fun, Latin Midwest personality, and technical creative work won salon guests over and keeps them coming back for more.

The beauty industry is constantly changing, knowledge is key in a salon, which translated well as I took on an educator role with Easihairpro, creating successful salon professionals nationwide. You’d think I’d stop there. But nope! I continue to find ways to elevate my carrier and take it to the next level.
•

With a big smile on my face, I joined the Diamond salon & Spa team in 2021. As a full-time salon director and hair-artist., it’s been a rollercoaster of emotions, but exciting to see the growth with the team and space.

In a world full of AI-generated inspiration, I always remind myself, and my clients that not everything we see online is reality.

Yes, many looks can absolutely be achieved, but part of our job as stylists is to educate, guide, and set realistic expectations based on your hair’s unique texture, condition, and history. Sometimes inspiration just takes the right approach, patience, and professional care.

I’ve been working with this client for about 6 years, and I love that she’s always open to trying new ideas and trusting the process. For this look, we used @pravana Everlasting Poison Berry at the base, blending into Vivids Wild Orchid and Magenta through the ends.

Sometimes the longer route is the most rewarding.

Today’s client had been coloring her hair red for many years. After much thought, she decided it was time for a softer, more natural, and lower-maintenance look.
•
While the traditional approach might involve heavy foiling or bleaching, I knew there was a healthier way to honor the integrity of her hair. Using a no-lift color extractor, I was able to safely remove about 90% of the artificial red. From there, I created a dimensional, lived-in look by adding soft highlights and a shadow root.

Important Update for My Amazing Clients

First, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude. Your loyalty, support, and trust mean the world to me, and I’m so thankful to have each of you in my chair.
•
Effective today, there will be a small increase in pricing for color services. This adjustment allows me to continue offering the time, quality, and personalized care you’ve come to expect during every visit.
•
I’ll also be updating my hours behind the chair. Moving forward, I’ll be working Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and every other Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
•
After much thought and consideration, I’ve made the difficult decision to pause accepting new clients for the time being. This wasn’t easy, but it’s the best decision for my business right now and allows me to better serve my existing clients with the attention they deserve.
