One last test… then it’s time to find out if our $1,000 Facebook Marketplace jet ski was actually worth it. 🌊

After weeks of diagnosing, replacing parts, and bringing this 1998 Sea-Doo back to life, today was all about making sure everything was ready before hitting the water.

✅ Hooked up the trailer.
✅ Fired it up.
✅ Tested the engine.
✅ Ready to ride.

One important tip: Never let your jet ski run without water, and always shut it off before disconnecting the hose. If you don’t, you could hydrolock the engine… and that’s an expensive mistake you definitely want to avoid.

Everything checked out…

Now there’s only one thing left to do.

AI just helped us bring our $1,000 Facebook Marketplace jet ski back to life… 🤯

After our 1997 Sea-Doo refused to start, we decided to do something a little different…

Instead of calling a mechanic, we asked Claude AI what to test first.

It told us to jump the solenoid.

The engine turned over.

So we ordered a new solenoid, swapped it in, pulled the spark plugs, added fogging oil, crossed our fingers…

…and after weeks of sitting silent, this 30-year-old machine fired right up. 🔥

I never thought I’d say this, but AI may have just saved us hundreds of dollars and a whole lot of frustration.

Now there’s only one question left…

Will it actually survive its first day back on the water, or is this just the beginning? 🌊

You don’t need a forklift… you just need a winch. 💪

One of the questions we’ve been getting is how we move our 1997 Sea-Doo from the maintenance cart back onto the trailer by ourselves.

Turns out, it’s way easier than it looks.

Line up the trailer, hook up the winch, and let it do the heavy lifting. The only mistake that’ll ruin your day? Make sure your trailer lights aren’t pressed against the cart while you’re cranking… ask me how I know. 😅

Every episode gets us one step closer to putting this $1,000 Facebook Marketplace jet ski back where it belongs—on the water.

2 years ago vs today.

Somewhere in the middle of this video…
early mornings, late nights, discipline when I didn’t feel like it, and a lot of sweat nobody saw.

Born in 1939.
Laid to rest Saturday, April 25th 2026.

A full life. A strong man. A father, grandfather, great-grandfather, leader, and example to so many.

These are just a few memories of my grandfather, but they will never be enough to show the love, respect, and admiration we all had for him.

He passed peacefully, surrounded by love, and although my heart is heavy, I’m grateful for the moments, the lessons, the laughs, and the legacy he leaves behind.

Rest in peace, Basidi.

What a year- I remember when Joseph walked in that day, he said: “I have an idea and I need help!” The rest is history. Countless prototypes, packaging designs, tests and iterations.
