Meet the Team | David Stan 🎉

David either knows everyone... or knows someone who knows everyone.

He’s the kind of person who naturally brings people together, whether it’s introducing two people who should definitely meet, convincing someone to join Product Tank Cluj, or somehow turning “just a few attendees” into a full house (and a waiting list 👀).

Over the years, David has worn many hats in our community: host, speaker, facilitator, networking champion, side-chat entertainer... and unofficial ambassador who never misses a chance to invite one more person.

He’s energetic, proactive, approachable, and always ready to help solve a problem. Some say he could sell ice to Eskimos... we’re not saying they’re wrong. 😄

Of course, with so many things happening at once, he occasionally needs a friendly reminder or two. And despite having endless energy, his phone battery somehow manages to stay at 1% all day. 🔋

Jokes aside, what makes David truly special is his generosity. He genuinely cares about people, loves building connections, and has played a huge role in making Product Tank Cluj the welcoming community it is today.

We recently hosted the latest @producttankcluj event, dedicated to the local product community. The event challenged participants to an evening of bold ideas, uncomfortable questions, and honest conversations around AI and the future of product thinking.

Led by Dr. Radu Orghidan, EMBA, Co-Founder of CoRAI Labs and Data & AI Strategy expert, the session invited attendees to look beyond the pressure of “adding AI” and ask a more relevant question: are we solving the right problem, or simply layering new technology on top of broken systems?

Before the main session, our colleague @davidm.stan , Capability Manager opened the evening by sharing more about the Accesa community and the role of knowledge-sharing in helping people grow across disciplines.

“It was a pleasure to host ProductTank Cluj at Accesa. As we continue to grow as an integrated part of our clients’ value chains, events like this are a natural fit. They create space for knowledge-sharing, community engagement, and conversations that connect product thinking with real business impact.”

What if the biggest product mistake isn’t building the wrong feature… but solving the wrong problem entirely?

Last week at ProductTank Cluj we explored exactly that. 🚀

We spent the evening stepping back from the rush to build and exploring something just as important: how we think about problems instead of jumping to solutions.

Together with @catalinadem Cătălina Vescan, participants explored ways to question assumptions, recognise patterns in complex situations, and adapt their approach depending on the context.

The workshop was hands-on, interactive, and full of thoughtful discussions — exactly what the ProductTank community is about.
