POSTS STORIES REELS

This is exactly why @proedgebranding was built.

During the @chargers bye week, we had the opportunity to connect our client, @kdub.21, with the @linkedinnews team in NYC for a special segment highlighting his journey on and off the field.

From studying Mechanical Engineering at @stanford to competing in the @nfl , Kendall is proof that being an athlete and being intellectually curious aren’t mutually exclusive.

He’s exploring technology, business, and entrepreneurship while also making an impact in his community through Kendall’s Corner, an initiative recognizing young people for their academic achievements, character, and leadership.

At ProEdge Branding, we believe athletes shouldn’t have to wait until retirement to start building their next chapter. Our role is to help turn their experiences, interests, and ambitions into meaningful relationships, visibility, and opportunities beyond the game.

We’re excited for what’s ahead. Because the world deserves to know athletes for more than what they do on game day.

Stay tuned for the full segment! 👀

Some of the best ideas come from looking back at what helped you succeed and finding ways to give others that same opportunity. That is exactly what Dylan Gilcher accomplished during our AI Career Accelerator with the @uofmichigan and @the_pathways_foundation

A current Michigan wrestler with 18 years on the mat and nearly eight years of coaching experience, Dylan is turning his passion for wrestling into something bigger. His capstone introduced Bridge Wrestling Club, a youth wrestling organization built around elite coaching, mentorship, and making the sport more accessible. Inspired by the sacrifices his father made to help him and his brother develop as wrestlers, Dylan wants to remove barriers for other families by offering transportation to practices and financial assistance for those who qualify.

His vision goes beyond wrestling. He wants to help young athletes build confidence, discipline, and the skills they need to succeed long after they leave the mat. After an injury kept him off the mat, he began seeing wrestling differently, sharpening his ability to analyze, coach, and help others improve. With the capstone he’s already taking steps to turn his vision into reality by connecting with people who can help him build the right partnerships.

That’s the @proedgebranding Athlete-to-Executive positioning mindset: turning your experiences into opportunities for others.

We’re proud of Dylan. Another student story from our cohort. One more to highlight (8/9).

One conversation from proper networking can change your whole life. Sometimes, the biggest opportunity isn’t what someone can do for you. It’s who you get to learn from.

Welcome back to my Real Estate Talk with K2 - Episode 2 🎙️

Coming up as an athlete playing in different markets, I’ve learned that networking is bigger than just meeting people or exchanging contacts.

It’s about building real intentional relationships, learning from people who’ve been where you want to go, and putting yourself in rooms where you can grow.

Timing is everything, but you never know what one conversation could lead to. A new opportunity, a different perspective, a business connection, or even a completely different path.

For athletes globally, don’t only think about who you know. Start thinking about who you’re learning from and how you can provide value, too.

What’s one relationship or conversation that changed your perspective?

I’m starting something new called: Real Estate Talk With K2

Every Wednesday, I’m going to give you a little more of the real me outside of sports.

College football.
Track & Field.
NIL.
Real estate.
Stocks.
Investing.
School.
Networking.
Life as a student-athlete.

For Episode 1, I’m going back to where my real estate journey started.

When I got hurt at UCLA, instead of sitting around waiting to get healthy, I started asking myself: “What else can I build while I’m out?”

So I got my California real estate license. My previous injury ended up giving me something I enjoy and will continue to capitalize on long term beyond my sports career. While I’m still in college. by @proedgebranding

Where do you see AI’s greatest impact when it comes to the fan experience and the opportunities for athletes over the next few years?

That was one of the questions I asked Kat Harwood, Head of Sports & U.S. Sports Practice at @deloitte during our latest Beyond The Field: Building While You Play conversation for @proedgebranding

I think this is where the conversation gets really interesting. A.I isn’t just about making sports more efficient. It has the potential to make the relationship between fans, athletes, teams, and brands more personalized than ever.

For athletes, this could represent a major shift.
- More personalized fan experiences
- Smarter ways for fans to discover and consume content
- Deeper athlete-to-fan relationships
- New ways for athletes to understand their audiences
- New opportunities for athletes to build businesses beyond endorsements

The athletes who understand how to leverage technology while protecting authenticity will have an advantage. That’s why I believe building while you play is becoming more important than ever.

The biggest shift in AI isn’t that it’s getting smarter. It’s that it’s becoming accessible and innovative.

During a conversation with Michelle McGuire Christian, Chief Data & AI Officer for Deloitte’s U.S. Olympic & Paralympic partnership at @deloitte

I asked from Deloitte’s perspective “Why is it so important now to be talking about AI, athletes, and the future of fan engagement.

She said AI isn’t new, the real breakthrough is that you no longer need to be an engineer, know SQL, or write Python to use it. Today, anyone can interact with powerful data through simple conversation.

That changes everything! For athletes, it means understanding performance data, scouting trends, fan insights, and business opportunities is no longer limited to technical experts.

For fans, it creates more personalized experiences, deeper engagement, and entirely new ways to connect with the athletes they follow.

The future of sports isn’t just about AI. It’s about giving more people access to information, insights, and opportunities that were previously out of reach.

The athletes and who learn how to use these tools early won’t just keep up with the future of sports they’ll help shape it.

Yesterday was the start of Kendall’s Corner.

It was great getting to meet King, his cousin Emerie, and their parents. Having them come out for the game. After the game, I got a chance to sit down with them, talk some ball, hear about school, and learn more about the positive things they’re doing in their community.

That is what Kendall’s Corner is all about. Recognizing who these children are becoming, not just what they accomplish in their relative curricular activities.

So for Week 2: Academic All-Stars -Excellence in the Classroom. I’m looking for students who are putting in the work academically and taking pride in their education.

You can nominate a student who:

• Works hard in the classroom
• Has strong grades or has made significant academic improvement
• Shows discipline and consistency with their schoolwork
• Takes pride in learning and their education
• Has big goals for their future
• Balances academics with sports, activities, family or community responsibilities

You don’t have to be the “perfect student” to be an Academic All-Star. Sometimes the most meaningful stories are about the student who kept pushing, improving, staying disciplined, and refuses to give up!

Nominations are open now for this Sunday, September 20th vs. the Las Vegas Raiders.

King, Emerie, and the Carter family thank you for spending Sunday with me. It was a pleasure meeting you all.

Week 1 was special. Let’s keep it going into Week 2! by @proedgebranding

So what exactly is @proedgebranding ?

We get this question a lot. We’re not a traditional marketing agency or advisory.

We empower athletes to succeed beyond the game. We help athletes build infrastructure, access, business, deals, equity, and long term positioning while they’re still competing in their relative sport.

A great example was our recent sit-down panel with @deloitte, where we discussed what happens when athletes start thinking beyond their sport and ownership.

An athlete’s value isn’t just what they do on the field. At ProEdge Branding, we help turn those assets into a strategic professional platform. The future of athlete branding is bigger than endorsements.

Some athletes want to becoming founders, executives, investors, creators, engineers, advisors, and business owners. Our job is to help them build the strategy, positioning, and platform to capitalize on that.

That’s @proedgebranding is! by @proedgebranding
