The vintage @freshjive_la collection has grown quite a bit in the last few years. Love the early “Raw Vibes” era designs and snap them up whenever I can find them for a reasonable price (the shirt top left was my first, purchased in ‘92 or ‘93). s/o to @map_pointz and @bobcatminx for inspiring me to drag these out of the closet (and to @trickyrickyfoficky for kindly answering all my questions over the years). #freshjive #rawvibes #vintagefreshjive #rickklotz #streetwear by @programforlight

All aboard Friday night as I join my friend @deejay_sbr behind the decks and raise the sails as we take to the high seas for The Kickback @themermaidla in Little Tokyo. We’ll be serving up classic Hip-Hop, Funk, Soul, R&B, Boogie and Disco joints with a few surprises in between while you immerse yourself in an undersea grotto-like room filled with tropical-themed cocktails. The voyage begins at 9pm. Don’t miss the boat!! by @programforlight

My set with @horse_and_anchor from last year for @omakase_mixshow is finally up on SoundCloud featuring music by @f_l_x_x_x, @damon_jee, @ivan_delarouch, @thomass_jackson, @mytron_ofofo, @undefined.pattern, @vongold_, @radialgaze, @syzygyx_music, @yosoyleonor, @fatandbaldmusic, @sexkinoband, @cowboyrhythmbox, @sextileband, @therealeddiec, @misterjoshooa, @odopt_, and @_bezier and labels @play_pal_music, @logicalrecords, @feinestier, @sideupworks, @eskimorecordings, @cold_transmission_official, @ngprecords, @trampolinersthlm, @roamrecordings, @phantasysound, @playground.records, @felte_label, @mulemusiq, @emotional_recordings, and @traxonly

I was really happy when @horse_and_anchor suggested we play some darker music for our set as I rarely get the opportunity to play tracks like these out. They always remind me of the early days of Machine Club @clubteegee, posted up at the bar on a Thursday night with @e_rupt shooting the breeze and listening to @remy_marc, @ginakuhn, @briantarney and @olivekimoto work the decks (also want to give some love to current residents and heavy hitters @coupdestace and @vonwolfenheiser.ox).

Thank you so much for having us, @goldcode.dj. You’re the consummate host and I always have the best time hanging and playing music with you. Also thank you to @horse_and_anchor, @justinstrauss1, and @thejuanmaclean for the heads up on a few of these tracks.

Our set is now available for your listening pleasure. Links in bio. Enjoy!! by @programforlight

L.A. friends! This Sunday I’ll be joining my good friend, @horse_and_anchor, behind the decks for the second session of his new monthly brunch gig at the historic @airlinerbar. Brunch and beats from noon ‘til 4pm-ish. Expect mid and downtempo jams for your Sunday afternoon listening enjoyment. Our buddy, @deejayjd, will also be joining us on the patio with crates of records to sell. So, get yourself some AMAZING brunch bites, tasty libations and kick it to our breezy beats! Kids and dogs are welcome, so no excuses! Tell your friends. by @programforlight
