They attacked, but @progressiveaction was READY! by @progressiveaction
THIS is the real rent crisis in NYC. Luxury buildings keep going up. Working people keep getting pushed out. This didn’t happen by accident. It happened by approval. “The middle class isn’t shrinking — it’s being evicted.” Teachers. Transit workers. Nurses. City workers. People who keep New York running can’t afford to live here anymore. Everyone keeps talking about homeowners. But renters are the ones being forced out of the city— Not because they’re lazy. Not because they didn’t work hard enough. But because the system was redesigned without them in mind. If you’ve felt this pressure… If your rent jumped overnight… If your neighborhood doesn’t look like it used to… You’re not crazy. You’re being priced out. 📣 Share this. 💬 Drop where you’re from in the comments. 🔁 Save this for later. #nyc #ny #mta #fyp by @progressiveaction
🚨 KATHY HOCHUL, WAS THIS A POLITICAL PHOTO OP OR WHAT?! 🎭🤦🏾‍♂️ 👀 So let me get this straight… A man approaches Governor Kathy Hochul, gets down on his KNEES, and asks her for $100?! 🚨 Her security detail? WATCHING. 🚔 NYPD? WATCHING. 🎬 Everybody standing around like they’re watching a BROADWAY PERFORMANCE! 🤔 And we’re supposed to believe nobody had any security concerns? 💵 Now here’s the part that really gets me… Governor Hochul was recently speaking in a BLACK CHURCH, warning people not to spend their rebate checks on alcohol. But now she’s being filmed in an encounter where a man is asking her for $100?! 🎭 THE TIMING IS INTERESTING! 🗳️ Right before Election Day, we’re seeing a moment that raises some legitimate questions. Was this a spontaneous encounter? Was security already aware of the individual? Or was this an orchestrated publicity moment? 💯 Because Black New Yorkers deserve more than carefully packaged political imagery. They deserve AFFORDABLE HOUSING, LOWER UTILITY BILLS, ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY, and REAL ACCOUNTABILITY! 🗣️ GOVERNOR HOCHUL, HERE’S MY QUESTION: Was this an authentic interaction, or was somebody trying to put on a show? 👇🏾 WATCH THE VIDEO AND YOU BE THE JUDGE! #ny #nyc #fyp by @progressiveaction
🚨 POLITICAL LOYALTY IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR CRITICAL THINKING! 🧠🔥 Some people treat politics like a sports rivalry. 🏟️🤣 Their team can do no wrong, the opposing team can do no right, and anybody who refuses to pick a side becomes the enemy! 🤦🏾‍♂️ 💯 HERE’S WHAT PEOPLE NEED TO UNDERSTAND! You can disagree with someone without labeling them. You can challenge someone’s political beliefs without attacking their character. And you can demand accountability without pledging allegiance to a political party! 🎯 🧠 THE TRUTH DOESN’T NEED YOUR PERMISSION TO BE TRUE! Facts don’t suddenly become false because they make you uncomfortable. Evidence doesn’t lose credibility because it challenges your favorite politician. And accountability shouldn’t depend on whether there’s a D or an R next to somebody’s name! 🚨 🔥 STOP CONFUSING POLITICAL ALLEGIANCE WITH INTELLIGENCE! I’m not interested in protecting political parties from criticism. I’m interested in examining their actions, questioning their decisions, and demanding answers! 💯 YOU DON’T HAVE TO AGREE WITH ME. JUST COME PREPARED TO DEFEND YOUR ARGUMENT WITH SOMETHING OTHER THAN YOUR EMOTIONS! 👇🏾 LET’S TALK! 🎤 When did disagreeing with someone’s political beliefs become a reason to attack their identity instead of debating their argument? 🤔🔥 #ny #nyc #fyp by @progressiveaction
🚨 WHY DO I HOLD NEW YORK DEMOCRATS MORE ACCOUNTABLE THAN REPUBLICANS? THE NUMBERS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES! 🗽🏛️ Every time I criticize Democrats, I’m called MAGA, a Trump supporter, a Republican, or a fake independent! 🤦🏾‍♂️ But let’s take a look at the HISTORY of political power in New York! 👀📊 🔴 NYC MAYOR: Michael Bloomberg left the Republican Party in 2007 — 19 YEARS AGO! (He remained mayor until 2013.) 🔴 NY GOVERNOR: George Pataki left office December 31, 2006 — ALMOST 20 YEARS AGO! 🔴 NY STATE ASSEMBLY: Republicans last held the majority in 1974 — 52 YEARS AGO! 🔴 NY STATE SENATE: Republicans last held the majority in 2018 — 8 YEARS AGO! 🔴 NY ATTORNEY GENERAL: Dennis Vacco left office in 1998 — 28 YEARS AGO! 🔴 NYC CITY COUNCIL: Republicans have NEVER controlled the modern City Council! Its predecessor last had a Republican majority over 110 YEARS AGO! 🔴 NYC PUBLIC ADVOCATE: Since the office was established under that title in 1994, NOT ONE REPUBLICAN HAS EVER HELD IT! 🤯 🚨 NOW HERE’S MY QUESTION! 🚨 If Democrats have controlled so many of New York’s most powerful political offices for DECADES, why is it controversial to hold them accountable for the decisions made under their leadership? 🤔 💰 The cost of living! 🏠 The housing crisis! 🚇 Public transportation! 💡 Rising utility bills! 💸 Taxes and government spending! 👷🏾‍♂️ Working-class struggles! Republicans deserve accountability for their decisions, too. But accountability should reflect WHO HAS THE POWER, WHO MAKES THE DECISIONS, AND WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RESULTS! 🎯 🗣️ CRITICIZING DEMOCRATS DOESN’T MAKE ME A REPUBLICAN! 🗣️ CRITICIZING REPUBLICANS DOESN’T MAKE ME A DEMOCRAT! ✊🏾 I’M AN INDEPENDENT! MY LOYALTY IS TO THE PEOPLE, NOT A POLITICAL PARTY! 🔥 POLITICAL ACCOUNTABILITY IS NOT POLITICAL LOYALTY! 👇🏾 DO YOU AGREE THAT THE PARTY HOLDING THE MOST POWER SHOULD FACE THE MOST SCRUTINY? #ny #nyc #fyp by @progressiveaction
HAS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY BETRAYED THE WORKING CLASS? 👀🔥 He went from DEMOCRAT to REPUBLICAN, and his explanation is a direct indictment of Governor Kathy Hochul and New York’s Democratic leadership! 💥 🎯 Correction officers fired after protesting working conditions. 🏥 Nurses fighting for better pay and working conditions while hospitals bring in replacement workers. 🚆 Railroad workers battling for the right to strike. 💉 City workers terminated over COVID vaccine mandates. And he makes an even BOLDER claim: Donald Trump has done MORE for labor and working-class Americans than the previous FOUR presidents combined! 😳 But here’s the REAL QUESTION: 🗣️ Is the Democratic Party still the party of organized labor, or has its loyalty to working-class Americans become nothing more than a campaign slogan? Political loyalty should NEVER come before accountability! 👇 LET’S DEBATE! Has Kathy Hochul failed New York’s working class, or is this criticism unfair? #nyc #ny #fyp by @progressiveaction
🚨 I’M AN INDEPENDENT, NOT MAGA! STOP TRYING TO LABEL ME! 🗣️🔥 🤔 Why is it that whenever you criticize Democrats, suddenly you’re MAGA, a Republican, a Trump supporter, or a grifter? 📢 I SAID WHAT I SAID! I’M AN INDEPENDENT! Here’s my question: If you believe in respecting how people identify themselves, why can’t you respect how someone identifies politically? 🤷🏾‍♂️ 💯 I hold BOTH political parties accountable! But I hold Democrats to a higher standard because they’re the ones who repeatedly come into our communities asking for our votes! ⛪ They come into our churches. 🏘️ They come into our housing projects. 🏫 They come into our schools. 🤝 They shake hands and kiss babies. 🗳️ BUT WHAT HAPPENS AFTER ELECTION DAY? Too often, the promises disappear until the next election! 🚫 I’m not voting RED just because I’m disappointed with BLUE! 🚫 And I’m not voting BLUE just because someone tells me to fear RED! 🔥 MY LOYALTY IS TO THE PEOPLE, NOT A POLITICAL PARTY! 🇺🇸 Political tribalism is dividing this country, and accountability should NEVER depend on which party you support! 👇🏾 LET’S DEBATE! Can you criticize Democrats without being labeled MAGA? Or has independent thinking become unacceptable in American politics? #nyc #ny #fyp by @progressiveaction
🚨 WAS THAT TRUMP?! 🤔🔥 Everybody wants to blame Donald Trump for EVERYTHING wrong in America. But here’s a question nobody seems to want to answer… 🗽 Who’s holding our LOCAL and STATE politicians accountable?! 💰 Billions spent on NYC’s migrant crisis! 🚗 Congestion pricing hitting working-class New Yorkers! 🚇 Transit workers fighting for fair wages, safety, and dignity! 📚 Proposed cuts to public libraries! 🚨 New York correction officers fired after striking over dangerous working conditions! 📈 Inflation crushing working-class families! WAS THAT TRUMP?! OR ARE WE PICKING AND CHOOSING WHO TO HOLD ACCOUNTABLE? 👀 🎯 This isn’t about defending Trump. It’s about demanding CONSISTENCY! If we’re going to criticize Republicans, we better be willing to hold Democrats to the SAME STANDARD! 🗣️ ACCOUNTABILITY SHOULDN’T HAVE A POLITICAL PARTY! 👇🏾 DROP YOUR THOUGHTS IN THE COMMENTS! #ny #nyc #fyp by @progressiveaction
🚨 AGGRESSIVE POLICING IN NYC: WHO’S REALLY RESPONSIBLE? 🚨👮🏽‍♂️⚖️ 🎙️ REVEREND KEVIN McCALL SPEAKS OUT! 🔥 Why does Reverend Kevin McCall defend NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch despite growing criticism of aggressive policing? 👀 While protesters call for Commissioner Tisch to resign, Reverend McCall, who gave her a B+ rating, explains why he believes the real problem goes deeper than the commissioner! 🚨 McCall discusses his relationship with Jessica Tisch, the role of NYPD Chief Michael LiPetri, and who’s REALLY responsible for aggressive policing throughout New York City. ⚖️ Is replacing the police commissioner enough to change aggressive policing, or is the entire system in need of reform? 🎯 WHO SHOULD REALLY BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE? 💯 A BADGE DOESN’T PUT ANYONE ABOVE ACCOUNTABILITY! 👇🏽 WATCH THE INTERVIEW AND LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK! by @progressiveaction
🚨 MAYOR MAMDANI, WHY NOT FIX YOUR OWN HOUSING BEFORE TELLING PRIVATE LANDLORDS WHAT TO DO? 🏚️🏙️ 🎙️ Attorney Jimmy Wagner joins Progressive Action TV and challenges NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani over the city’s housing crisis and the condition of NYCHA developments! 🔥 “GO SHOW US HOW IT’S DONE!” — Jimmy Wagner 💥 NYC has one of the largest public housing systems in America. 💥 NYCHA residents have endured years of maintenance problems, deteriorating infrastructure, and unacceptable living conditions. 💥 Yet city leaders continue demanding solutions from private landlords while struggling to address problems in public housing! ⚖️ HOW CAN GOVERNMENT DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY FROM PRIVATE LANDLORDS WHILE FAILING TO DELIVER IT TO ITS OWN TENANTS? Wagner argues that before politicians lecture the private sector about affordable housing, they should demonstrate that government can successfully maintain the housing it already oversees. 🚨 NYCHA RESIDENTS DESERVE MORE THAN CAMPAIGN PROMISES, PHOTO OPS, AND POLITICAL SPEECHES! And here’s the bigger question: 🔥 IF THE GOVERNMENT CAN’T PROPERLY MAINTAIN PUBLIC HOUSING, SHOULD NEW YORKERS TRUST IT TO EXPAND ITS ROLE IN THE HOUSING MARKET? NYCHA’s problems span multiple administrations, but that doesn’t excuse today’s leaders from demanding measurable improvements. 👇🏾 LET’S DEBATE: Should Mayor Mamdani prioritize fixing NYCHA before expanding government involvement in housing? #nyc #ny #fyp by @progressiveaction
🚨 RETIRED NYPD COP ACCUSED OF FATALLY SHOOTING UNION WORKER… WAS JUSTICE DIFFERENT FOR HIM? 👮‍♂️⚖️ 💥 A traffic dispute on the George Washington Bridge. 💥 A union worker fatally shot. 💥 A retired NYPD detective accused. 💥 Questions about surveillance footage, a perp walk, and why the charge was manslaughter instead of murder. 🎙️ UWUA Local 1-2 President Frank Morales joins Progressive Action TV and raises some disturbing questions about how this case was handled. 🔥 IF THE ACCUSED WASN’T A FORMER COP, WOULD THE JUSTICE SYSTEM HAVE TREATED HIM THE SAME WAY? Morales questions how someone accused of a deadly shooting could allegedly leave the scene, return to everyday life, and ultimately face a manslaughter charge rather than murder. ⚖️ THE BADGE SHOULD NEVER DETERMINE THE LEVEL OF JUSTICE! This isn’t about being anti-police. It’s about demanding equal accountability under the law. 👇🏾 LET’S DEBATE: Should prosecutors have pursued a murder charge? Or was manslaughter the appropriate charge? #nyc #ny #fyp by @progressiveaction
