We’re proud to announce the launch of Project SBR LLC! A parts and consulting company built by grassroots drivers, for grassroots drivers.

After years of developing parts, solving problems, and finding creative solutions for our own racecars, the four of us decided to combine our engineering background and motorsport experience to bring high-quality products and services to the grassroots racing community without the high price tag.

From custom aerodynamics, to one off engine wiring and accessories, we are building the things we wish we had access to as grassroots racers, and we’re excited to bring you along for the ride.

944Fest has always been a special event for us and this year even better since it lined up with the launch of the new Project SBR. We can’t thank @944fest enough for being awesome hosts and being an event we were stoked to sponsor when the opportunity presented itself. Huge shout out to all who stopped by over the weekend to hangout in the paddock or at the Cars and Coffee during the @realtrackheroes pancake breakfast. Especially those of you who bought shirts, we never thought our first weekend would go so well! Another category of parts we wish existed for our vehicles is in the realm of angry pixies and electrical components. Working on older vehicles we noticed a lack of aftermarket niche electrical components to modernize and support modifications we wanted. To fill that gap we resorted to designing and building components to fit those very specific use cases. We’ve 3D printed things from sensor mounts to custom lighting housings and can do much more.

If you are in need of electrical goodies and supporting mounts reach out! While this category will initially be more focused on the Porsche 944 we are looking to expand to others later this year and would be happy to help you where we can!

One of the core ideas behind Project SBR is to build the parts we wish existed for our own cars. One of the founding categories of this mindset is aerodynamic components. We found ourself designing and 3D printing custom components instead of running off the shelf universal components. We do still have universal components for sale but the bread and butter of our catalog is custom components specifically designed for your car and set up. Custom measurements or 3D scans are taken of your car to ensure parts are engineered effectively to your use case.

Although all of our team members live in different parts of the country now, we were able to get together this weekend and have a few shop days!
