The 2026 Britcar Endurance Championship is shaping up to be a cracker, with an away round at Spa Francorchamps surely the highlight of a great calendar.

Project 29:7 will be competing in the Trophy class in our own G56 GTA and would love to put a second car on the grid with two drivers looking to develop their skills in a new series. With coaching and development training part of our mantra, we are keen to speak with both experienced drivers and those who may not even have their race license yet.

Silverstone…. It was going so well until the wheel fell off 😂!

Great weekend at Silverstone with @project297racing for the penultimate round of the @britcarendurancechampionship

Showed strong pace all throughout testing, we hit the ground running straight away.

Mixed conditions in qualifying enabled us to put it on pole in class and overall. The race was looking so good and on for a victory when the unexpected happened 🤦‍♂️!

A great weekend with some great people and I’ve left the circuit without the assistance of an ambulance 🚑… that’s as good as a victory 🏆 by @project297racing

Thats our race done! Our number 36 started on pole and looked towards a win but an unfortunate dnf ended the race for our #36 , on the other side our #297 car finished p1 in class! brands hatch up next for the season finale in november! by @project297racing

Qualifyling wrapped up at Silverstone and a mega result for the team with double pole! The 29:7 Ginetta got pole in class and 7th overall! While the 36 Ginetta was pole overall!! Looking forward to our race! The race is coming up at 1pm! by @project297racing

With all the dramas over the weekend, we almost forgot that Saturdays win was the 50th podium finish in a Ginetta for our OG, Carl Garnett. We’ve known Carl since his Mazda days, and since then he’s piled up podiums in just about every model that’s left the Ginetta factory.

What a weekend that was. From late night diff and clutch changes to last minute (literally) driveshaft swaps and double stacked pitstops, we were really up against it in the garage and need to put a shout out to our merry band of mechanics and engineers that make it all possible. We were missing a couple of our more ‘experienced’ guys this weekend, but our young lionhearts tackled it all head on to make sure we made it out for qualifying and the race.

Usually it’s the glory boy drivers that get all the plaudits but without the efforts of these legends the cars wouldn’t turn a wheel, so it was great to see their efforts rewarded with not only a class win, but also the Outstanding Achievement award for the weekend.

After missing racing for the last year, we’re officially back.

The Ginetta G56 GT8P has certainly taken some time to get where we want it, but we’re slowly making some serious progress with @project297racing

A huge amount of work has gone into this car by the team over the last few months, along with plenty of frustration.

Finally getting our first pole position at Snetterton and showing strong pace throughout the weekend made it clear that the hard work is starting to pay off.

We were looking set for a really strong result, but unfortunately a radio failure caused a lot of confusion. Combined with the changing conditions, things got complicated, and a bad pit stop ultimately put us out of contention.

Still, we got more right than we got wrong, and after a nearly faultless weekend, we came away with a P5 finish, losing out on what could have been a much better result and ultimately had the pace to race for the win.

Congratulations to team mates @carlgarnett & @jonathanmoore.12 who after a weekend of mechanical issues managed to bring home a win 🏆

Plenty of positives to take, plenty still to work on.

Next stop: Silverstone. 👊🏁

We’re back to Snetterton this weekend for Round 6 of the Britcar Endurance Championship.

After a disaster driveshaft failure for our #297 Trophy car last time out, we’re chomping at the bit to get @carlgarnett and @jonathanmoore.12 back on the top step for the third time this season. We’re at the business end of the Championship now, and we need to be on top of our game to keep our challenge alive.

We’ve also got @s.smithy.42 and @amos_biglad back out in the #36 GT entry. After a 4th place at Donington, we’ve made a few tweaks to the car that will hopefully give us the little boost we need to get the guys onto the podium this time out.
