You don’t have what it takes to meet the need, but He wants what YOU have so He can use it to be more than ENOUGH.

“God is good” can feel easy to say in the happy moments. Foster care has a way of testing whether you still believe it in the hard ones.

This week on Restoried, Shelly Mast shares her story of stepping into foster care, loving children through uncertainty and reunification, and learning to trust God’s goodness even in the middle of heartbreak, waiting, and hard outcomes.

Shelly doesn’t pretend foster care is easy, but she shares how God has continued to show up through every part of the journey.

If you’re in a hard season, involved in foster care, or just need the reminder that God is still good even when life feels heavy, this episode will really encourage you.

At the race today so many pictures of our lives in Christ was on display.

I was reminded that this life is like a race, and it encouraged me to not grow weary but to keep running towards the finish line…

To see a dad run alongside his son was a picture of how our Heavenly Father sees us, stumbling and messy from mud but so proud just because simply he takes joy in the fact that we’re his…

Another dad who with a smile, welcomes his son across the finish line. I imagine that is something like what Jesus will do when he welcomes us home.

Thank you to The Branch Church for making Project 10:18 the beneficiary of this year’s annual 5K.
All proceeds will go to serve children in foster care and the families that care for them! by @project_1018_

Exciting news!

Project 10:18 has officially becoming an initiative of Hope Bridge, and we couldn’t be more excited about what this means for foster and adoptive families in Holmes County.

What started as a simple “yes” has already grown into something so impactful.

Founded by two foster moms who felt called by the Lord to create meaningful support for foster and adoptive families in early 2025, Project 10:18 was born out of a shared heart for this journey. In just a short time, they’ve already:
-Provided freezer meals and monthly diaper deliveries
-Rallied over 15 volunteers to prepare 200 meals in one day
-Raised $4,000 in community support
-Helped send foster/adoptive moms to the Filled Retreat

And they’re just getting started.

With plans to expand into birthday celebrations for kids, more family support, and co-hosted events with Hope’s House, this partnership opens the door for even more care, connection, and encouragement for families who need it most.

At Hope Bridge, we believe no family should walk this journey alone, and Project 10:18 is helping make that a reality in Holmes County.

Thank you to the @_grace_highschool for hosting a “Uncrustable Party”
This youth group supplied, hosted, and put together 275 uncrustables to stock our freezer for our foster families!

We love getting students involved and made aware of how they can help serve the families in their community!

If you would like to get your youth group involved in a service project, feel free to DM! by @project_1018_
