We are truly speechless with gratitude as we witness the impact you have made possible. From countless hours spent fundraising, figuring out the logistics, and spreading awareness, seeing our nonprofit’s mission come to life has made every hurdle worth it.

On January 15th, we visited the all-girls boarding school for the first time. One by one, they approached us, asking where we were from and why we had come. As we explained the purpose of our visit, we gradually saw newfound hope and curiosity slowly emerge in their eyes. We left for the day and returned a week later. This time, some girls were eager to learn, while others hesitated, shying away from the topic of our presentation: menstrual hygiene.

By the end, the same girls who once avoided eye contact were speaking with confidence, asking questions, and even sharing their own experiences about their cycles. Watching that transformation unfold was more than moving—it was a reminder of why we started this journey.

We’re excited to reintroduce Project FLOWer with a renewed passion and focus—an initiative driven by our commitment to ending menstrual poverty and uplifting all menstruators through sustainable solutions and inclusive education. We believe that menstrual health is not only a cisgender women’s issue but one that impacts trans men, intersex, genderqueer, and nonbinary individuals as well. This crucial perspective has been overlooked for far too long, and it deserves to be equally acknowledged in conversations about menstrual health. Our expanded mission reflects this belief, and we remain dedicated to providing support and dignity to everyone who experiences menstruation.

2025 was the year of action.

The ideas we once spoke about became real, measurable change. From leading a menstrual product drive in India, to expanding to Kenya, to hosting bake sales that funded menstrual health education in metropolitan Buffalo libraries, and growing our presence in North Carolina! This year proved that purpose, when backed by consistency, creates impact beyond borders.

We’re happy to announce FLOWer’s second outreach mission, this time in Kibera, Nairobi, in collaboration with Acts of Compassion! 🇰🇪

After our first successful mission in Hyderabad, India, we’re continuing the fight against period poverty, this time in one of Africa’s largest informal settlements. Our goal? To raise funds for reusable menstrual pads to reduce school absenteeism, and restore dignity through sustainable support.

Did you know the Buffalo Public Library system only has 12-15 educational books on periods, just one or two per location? Meanwhile, girls are getting their first periods at younger ages, yet period education is only taught in 5th grade or not at all.

We’re changing that with our mission, Pages for Periods, a mission to stock libraries with books that teach young girls about their bodies, breaking the cycle of misinformation and stigma.
