I’m getting really excited for what’s coming. Deliberated on selling. Considered building an #ln106 instead….. ended up adopting full #yolo strategy but with a theme of full analog and minimalism. Gotta be honest. I’ve fallen out of favour of powder coating. It doesn’t wear as well as any claims, a pain to touch up and no longer a well priced alternative. Thought I would try something different on the @official_trailgear bar work with a few cans of @raptor.australia.official roll bar and chassis in semi gloss black. Hell! I may even do the entire new chassis getting built no one is supposed to know about yet 🤫 by @project_runn4it

Last piece of the puzzle to assemble driveline and dummy up suspension around 35’s remains the motor.
I actually really want a strong diesel without going crazy on budget so that rules out 1KD. Even anything 1KZ is bs expensive now for what you are getting so maybe petrol 3RZ might be the move?
It will be mated to an R150 manual and gear driven Tcase with 4.7 reduction gears and twin locked 4.88’s. I’m thinking even a NA 3RZ in healthy condition should be plenty. #betterthancocainandhookers #moneypit #4runner #firstgen4runner #toyota4runner be by @project_runn4it
