I know this is abrupt and I apologize for any inconvenience it may cause. As of tomorrow 12/20/2020 we will no longer be using Instagram as a platform.

Although we love engaging with you guys on a personal level; the updated terms of service and cyber surveillance policies are reaching unprecedented/tyrannical levels of privacy invasion.

If you have not seen the update, I would encourage you all to check it out. All photos, camera, GPS location and text messages will now be accessible through all your devices to include your tv. This will allow IG to monitor your compliance with government mandates and send you notifications when you need to comply.

Due to the nature of our work in suicide prevention, our privacy as well as yours is very important to us.

If you feel so inclined, please follow us on Parler.

We wish you all the best. Merry Christmas.

Can anyone identify with this? Or the opposite, when the feels make hard to even function?

Too often psychological pain rears it’s ugly head in the form of addiction; addiction to a substance that momentarily eases the pain. A freeing relief to the torment, an escape that becomes habit forming. The only time you feel well, how do we stop this escalating cycle before it consumes us.

We face the pain head on; we learn how to cope with reality, we can become whole again.

You can be whole again.

I’ve mentioned numerous times the idea of two different kinds of cops. There is the Sheepdog and there is the Hybrid Wolf. But let’s go even deeper. Let’s get closer to their core; to their morals, ideals, whatever you might call it. Let’s dig into their minds.

Some cops just enforce the law. You speed, you get a fine. You have a broken taillight; you get a ticket. You run a stop sign; the officer gives you a fine. You “jaywalk”, the officer gives you a fine. The officer is merely following the letter of the law. What does the letter of the law mean? The letter of the law can be any formal code, rule, regulation, policy, or principle that must be followed according to the government.

In simple terms, it’s the law. Letters of the law range from traffic laws to crimes against people and property. All these laws are in place to serve, maintain, and protect the public welfare in various ways. One true thing, not all these laws are popular among police officers, but to law enforcers, they will follow the letter of the law as it is stated. Nothing more, nothing less, and nothing personal to the public.

Then there are officers out there that are Constitutional Protectors, who follow the spirit of the law. Officers, who follow the spirit of the law are more sympathetic to the public and truly believe in serving the public, more than enforcing certain laws. These officers are not concerned about someone jaywalking. These officers are hunters of evil. They are more concerned with murder, sexual predators, truly evil people who prey on the weak. They have been this way since they were children. These types do not need a law or a commandment to tell them “thou shall not kill.” They were already born with a moral compass. They stood up to bullies as kids, they protected their friends and strangers alike. They stop to help a motorist in need.

Are all police officers the same? No. Every encounter a person has with a police officer will be different...

We Need Both.

This morning, @goons_____up reached out after hearing of Marine Corporal Patrick Duva’s story from his sister and fiancé, he sent them to us at HunterSeven...

A little bit of backstory, Cpl. Duva enlisted into the USMC in 2009, was stationed with the 2/3 Marines, Weapons Company as a 0341 Mortarman in Hawaii. He deployed to Nawa-I-Barakzayi District, Helmand Province, Afghanistan from 2010 to 2011. He left the USMC in 2013. Approximately 2.5 years ago, Cpl. Duva began having severe headaches, double vision and severe spinal/back pain. He went to the East Orange VAMC and was given an x-ray (Feb. 2017), the providers stated "everything looked fine” and “chronic back pain is common in veterans" and sent Cpl. Duva home. After his symptoms continued, he went back and had a vision test where the opthamologist saw spots on his brain, he was then sent for an "emergent MRI" that took weeks to get, he was diagnosed with a pineal gland tumor on his brain which subsequently affected his central nervous system and caused him to go blind, the official diagnosis was a germinoma (rare pediatric brain cancer) in June 2017...

After receiving chemotherapy and radiation, his cancer was "gone" per his providers. However, recently (against all odds) the cancer came back strong and he has fought since...

Last friday, September 11th, 2020 he was placed in hospice and end-of-life care at home. He cannot see, eat, drink and can barely speak aside, telling his mother and fiancé at his bedside that he loves them. He is 29-years old and has a few days left to live... please let that sink in.

Our hands are tied medically, and it breaks down deeply to know this family and this Marine are suffering... after speaking with the family and fiancé of Cpl. Duva, we requested a GoFundMe be set up (LINK IN BIO)... the family will use the funding to create a sort of scholarship for those needing treatments outside of the VA for cancers and PTS-related issues... 🇺🇸
