February 7, 2025 🥋

The one where I got my black belt ⬛️🟥⬛️⬛️⬛️. I don’t even know where to begin to express my emotions through this very moment. It’s extremely one of the most alluring events I have completed in my life time. From the moment I started I immediately fell the power this sport can provide to any individual. Jiujitsu had taught me so many valuable lessons I utilize in both the sport and real life situations. Learning to stay consistent when motivation lacks leadership, Discipline to came to me as I was force to humble myself with the help of my peers. How to become teachable and coachable by taking in feedback (constructive Criticism) How to seek inspiration, to find strengths within you . How to work with others and so many one I can go on and on. The growth from June 8th 2017 till now is incredible and I am so happy, I feel beyond blessed to have the privilege to not only to be A Black Belt under @mendesbros but also to have a#the opportunity to share the @artofjiujitsu style a way with others. Thank you to everyone who helped and/or supported through my journey to black belt 🥋

Achieving a black belt in any martial art is truly a dream come true along with a lot of dedication and sacrifices. Teaching martial arts is a blessing , to empower others and become a leader to people who look up to you and respect your abilities is a feeling not many can grasp. However the greatest achievement is paving the way for your family to experience the wonders of martial arts. For many years I thought I’d be the only one in my family to become a martial artist. These past months I was blessed with the opportunity to train long side my nephew. To me it’s so much more than just a training session. It’s truly a dream come true for me I always hoped I be able to inspire at least one family member to train. What I’m trying to say is thank you Azul for allowing me to live out one of my dreams. I love you so much and I’m so excited to see you grow on and off the mats! Tia will always be here for you and be your #1 fan 🫶🏽🌟 by @projectbabybjj
