The @pikespeakhillclimb is a race that brings out all types of emotions everytime we return.

The feeling of anxiety you get on race day before the car crosses the checkered flag is insane as a builder, friend, family. No matter how much effort we put into preparation, the mountain ultimately will decide how well we do, whether we cross the finish line or not.

Yesterday, @brettdickieracing my great friend who I entrust in wheeling the car crossed the finish line with a 10.27 finish. The anxiety quickly turned into celebrations, joy and relief for us down in the pit lane. This is the same feeling we get every year, and the chase to go faster, the addiction to humbly conquer the mountain constantly has us eagered to prepare for our return to the summit next year.

We went fishing for half an hour during the race after Brett finished to decompress. There's nothing like the Pike's Peak Hillclimb where you can fish and race at the same time!

Car culture died when dashboards became touchscreens. 📲💀

Modern cars are turning into iPads on wheels, packed with digital driver assists that do all the work for you. This track spec ZN8 is a brutal reminder of what a sports car is actually supposed to be: raw, mechanical, and entirely dependent on the person behind the wheel. The industry will never give us a pure, lightweight, naturally aspirated chassis like this again.

Honda Civic EK Hatch with an EK9 conversion complete minus engine and RHD. Full interior and creature comforts. The intentions with this car was to put together a quick streetable, soccer dad car a couple years ago. It's powered by a K24, DC5R gear box, and tuned by @unrivaledtuning. It has fully functioning AC and PS. Over the weekend our client @caryfacer had the opportunity to take it on track. The car did not flinch, and on a shock/spring street comfort setup with a track pad, the car did quite well. One of the things that brings us the most joy is seeing our clients enjoy the build.

For everyone asking,

Sadly the rumours are true, Myself and the Project Import team with not be on the mountain in 2026.

While I’d love to be freezing at 14,115 feet with my racing family sadly it will need to wait.

We are doing our best to be back in the not to distant future !! 💪
