It’s been a year! Come join us this Saturday to celebrate our one year anniversary with Taylor and Latinas in Progress. Special thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey so far. I grew up in northside fort worth so this area is very special, hope to see y’all there!

As always everyone is welcome to come join the cleanup!

⭐️Please meet in the park parking lot on N Houston Street!⭐️

This is a 1-hour trash cleanup but we will also be doing loteria and giving out prizes afterwards! Kame Coffee House was also so kind to provide the group with complimentary drinks which is so amazing! (tips are highly encouraged). Bring a blanket, enjoy your coffee and win some prizes!

Gloves, water, trash bags are provided! Thank you again Other Voices DFW for the extra donated bags!

If you want to bring anything extra you are more than welcome to bring it!

WE HAVE ALSO UPDATED OUR SAFETY AND LIABILITY FORM! PLEASE READ THESE FORMS BEFORE YOU COME TO THE CLEANUP. ANYONE WHO HAS NOT SIGNED UP OR AGREED TO THESE FORMS CANNOT PARTICIPATE. THIS ONE WAS UPDATED THIS MONTH AND IS NOT THE SAME AS BEFORE. THANK YOU! ( ON OUR LINKTREE)

Thank you everyone who came out yesterday🫶🥲Yesterday’s event was made possible by more than just those on the ground a few incredible people went above and beyond behind the scenes, and we wanted to give them a proper thank you.

@xobynisha for sponsoring water for our volunteers, letting us borrow her pink vests (which really helps as new people join our street cleanups), and bringing along her videographer, @eli.snapped , to capture the day!

@eli.snapped for coming out and capturing the day on video and photos. Being able to share this work visually helps us grow our impact and bring more people into project limpiar’s mission.

@cafexlibertad for donating the after-cleanup treats, which were incredible. It’s clear how much heart Alex puts into what he does!

@othervoicesdfw for donating extra puncture-resistant bags, which will serve us well at future cleanups. We are always in need of these extra bags.

@aj_jimenez._ for stepping up with picker-uppers when we needed them most last cleanup. We haven’t forgotten it AND donated even more today wow!

None of this happens without a community that shows up for each other. Thank you, truly. See you at the next one 🌎💚 taken in Fort Worth, Texas by @projectlimpiar

One of the best ways we can take care of ourselves is by taking care of our community 🫂 Today we partnered with @projectlimpiar for a community cleanup, here in Fort Worth. Thank you to everyone that took some time out of their Saturday morning to help give back. 🩷🌎✨

Teaching my girls that community isn’t just something you’re a part of — it’s something you show up for. 🤍

Taking care of ourselves is important, but there’s something so fulfilling about using our time to take care of the people and places around us, too.

Grateful for days like this. 🫶🏽✨

Thank you @projectlimpiar @xobynisha @nishaxojade for putting this together 💖

Due to parking concerns. We decided to change the meetup spot for tomorrow morning. Please meet up with us at Carter Park (the northern side)!

As always, everyone is welcome to join the cleanup!

(please refrain from blocking residential driveways and also be aware that local businesses rely on their customer parking spots)

UPDATED LOCATION:
📍Carter Park
Fort Worth, TX, 76119
⏰ 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM
🧢 bring comfortable clothes and shoes.

HIGHLY ENCOURGED:
- to bring bright clothes/reflective clothing/reflective vests ( we will be walking streets )
- A HAT (it gets sunny and warm)
- Long pants ( sometimes we come across tall grass)
- If you have your own picker upper please feel free to bring it!

Gloves, trash bags and water will be provided 😸

SHOUTOUT to @xobynisha on Instagram for sponsoring our waters, safety vests, and cooling items. As we do more cleanups in north Texas I’m forever thankful for the items that help us do successful street cleanups in this weather! 💗 If you have not done a class with Nisha before go ahead and check out her Instagram!

UPDATED SHOUTOUTS:

SHOUTOUT to @cafexlibertad as well for providing us coffee for our after cleanup treat!

SHOUTOUT to @othervoicesdfw for providing us sturdy trash bags, we will resume to use the ones donated from our last cleanup!

On our Instagram linktree:
- RSVP ON OUR EPHEMERAL SOCIAL
- Look at safety forms and what to expect!
