YES YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT we are making less house progress this week because we’re probably in the hot tub. the sewer quotes were $5500 for a pipe lining and $6500 to excavate, but some comments mentioned that could have been up to $20k where they’re located! 🤯 by @projectplatt

The first quote we got for fixing the sewer was $6.5k provided we do the prep of removing/replacing the floors (they were going to trench under here).

We were eager to do this because the old floors were nasty and it was the perfect excuse to start a new project!!

Fast forward a few months of no floors and avoidant brainstorming and we figured our idea was worth a try. If it didn’t work we already had the floor removed to dig a hole if it was stuck in the middle, or else gone crying back to the plumbers because we didn’t want to dig too close to the foundation

Now on to fixing this room (that we never even needed to tear apart!) by @projectplatt
