🎟️A little sneak peek: We’re so excited to feature Sultana’s Reign - سلطانة زمانها, one of the powerful films in our lineup this Saturday (3/1/2025)! This stunning short film tells the story of a Palestinian drag queen navigating identity, performance, and resilience, redefining what it means to exist unapologetically in the face of oppression. The film celebrates Sultana’s transformative power of drag, showing how artistry and resistance go hand in hand. To honor its vision, our very own Angelica created this special sketch inspired by Sultana’s story—highlighting the beauty, strength, and defiance at the heart of the film. NOTE: We also recognize that March 1 marks the first day of Ramadan, and we want to be mindful of those observing. We will have to-go trays so attendees can take food for after fast. Ticket donations will go directly to supporting Al Qaws, a queer-led organization in Palestine. Date: Saturday, March 1 Time: 1-4 PM Location: The Connie Norman Transgender Empowerment Center | 1001 N Martel Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046
