Leadership is not only about inspiring people, it is also about appreciating those who serve with loyalty and dedication.

Today, I was pleased to present a car each to my Chief Security Officer, Officer Alex, and my orderly, Officer Wisdom, in recognition of their unwavering commitment, loyalty, and years of dedicated service.

Hon. Simon Oshi, APC aspirant for the House of Representatives, Aninri/Awgu/Oji River Federal Constituency of Enugu State and Chief Executive Officer of Prolific Ent, has commended the Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, on the commissioning of the newly completed Nnenna Oti Bus Terminal in Umuahia, describing the project as a major milestone in the modernization of transportation infrastructure in Abia State and the South East region at large.

Reacting to the commissioning of the ultra-modern transport facility, Hon. Oshi praised Governor Otti for what he described as visionary leadership, bold infrastructural development, and a deliberate commitment to transforming Abia into a model state for economic growth and urban renewal.

According to him, the Nnenna Oti Bus Terminal represents more than just a transportation hub, but a symbol of progress, innovation, and a forward-thinking governance approach capable of attracting investment, improving commerce, and enhancing the daily lives of citizens.

Hon. Oshi noted that the project reflects the growing importance of modern transport systems in driving regional economic integration, easing movement, creating jobs, and improving the overall image of cities across Nigeria.

“The commissioning of the Nnenna Oti Bus Terminal is a remarkable achievement and a clear demonstration of purposeful leadership. Projects like this redefine urban transportation, boost economic activities, and restore public confidence in governance. Governor Alex Otti has once again shown that with vision and commitment, transformational development is possible,” he stated.

He further applauded the decision to name the terminal after Professor Nnenna Oti, describing it as a commendable recognition of integrity, courage, and service to democracy.

Hon. Oshi added that the development serves as an inspiration to leaders across the South East and Nigeria to prioritize people-centered infrastructure capable of creating long-term economic and social impact.

Honored to be part of a forward-looking conversation with the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, as he received me with my brothers Chief Cletus Oragwa, the Chairman Zenco Group

What stood out clearly is the Governor’s strong commitment to unlocking the full potential of Abia. There’s a renewed sense of purpose, backed by real improvements in infrastructure, security, and a business-friendly environment. It’s no longer just talk, the results are visible.

Hearing firsthand from investors who once left but are now willing to return says a lot. As one remark put it, if Abia had been like this before, there would have been no reason to leave. That alone speaks volumes about the progress being made.

Simon Oshi, most sincerely appreciate Barr.Seyi Tinubu for deeming me worthy of appointment as the Enugu West Zonal Coordinator of the City Boy Movement, coming barely days after my emergence as Chairman Grassroots & Field Mobilisation Committee.

This gracious confidence reposed in me is neither taken lightly nor regarded as a mere ceremonial designation. I accept this noble responsibility with humility of heart, clarity of purpose and an unwavering commitment to excellence, discipline and measurable impact.

Within the Southeast geopolitical zone, we shall vigorously intensify youth engagement, broaden empowerment frontiers, consolidate grassroots structures and advance constructive civic participation in faithful alignment with the Renewed Hope vision of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. My dear brother and friend,
His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti,

On this special occasion of your 61st birthday, I celebrate not just your life, but your heart for people and your unwavering commitment to justice, dignity, and service.

Our friendship has given me a close view of your character. You are firm when it matters, compassionate when it counts, and courageous when leadership demands it. That balance is rare.

One moment that will forever stand out to me was your decisive intervention in securing the release of some Abians who had been unjustly held, even on death row, for offences they did not commit. Through your leadership and your belief in fairness, hope was restored to families who had almost given up. Lives were not just freed, they were redeemed.

That singular act reflects who you truly are. A leader who does not look away. A man who understands that power must serve justice.

As you mark another year today, I pray for greater wisdom, strength, and grace. May this new chapter bring deeper fulfillment and continued impact in the lives of our people.
