Viburnum outside the window — white blossom in spring, red berries in autumn. Galya Symchych painted it twice.

«Viburnum Blooming Outside the Window» and «Red Clusters of Viburnum» show one tree in two seasons. Both watercolours were bought on the same day, so the pair stays together: they are now on their way to a collector through Singulart 🌿

It’s heartwarming to know that someone across the world wanted this viburnum on their wall.

Galya’s work is available on 1stDibs, Artsy, Artsper, Artmajeur and Singulart, as well as on her personal page on the Promotion Gallery website.

🎨 Are you an artist who wants collectors worldwide to see your work? Send us a DM or fill in the application in the artists‘ section of the Promotion Gallery website 👉 promotion.gallery

What if this isn’t just a portrait of a cat?

At first glance, one word comes to mind: Cheshire.

Alice. Wonderland. The Queen.

But the longer I looked, the more another story emerged.

A story about the soul’s journey from the instinctive world toward higher consciousness.

Or perhaps:

🦋 Caterpillar → Chrysalis → Butterfly.

Human beings exist somewhere in between:
no longer purely animal,
not yet fully spiritual.

The woman’s hand holding the cat almost resembles a feline paw, as if she still belongs to the instinctive world.

Yet behind her shoulders, something begins to appear—small wings.

In the figure in the upper-right corner, those wings have fully unfolded.

Interestingly, the upper-right corner is often perceived as the place where the journey reaches its destination—the point toward which the entire composition has been moving.

Perhaps this painting isn’t asking us to look at the cat.

Perhaps it’s asking us to look at ourselves.

There’s a quiet moment just before sunrise when the world seems to hold its breath.

“Tears of Dawn” by Madalena Zampassi captures that fleeting silence through luminous white poppies emerging from the darkness, touched by the cool dew of early morning. Delicate, atmospheric, and filled with mystery, this original painting invites the viewer into a world that exists only for a few moments before the day begins.

Everyone asks what art sells online?!
The answer may surprise you.🎨👀

This is probably the most common question I get from artists:

“Do landscapes sell?”
“What about portraits?”
“Are still lifes still popular?”

Instead of guessing, I decided to look at seven artworks that recently sold through our gallery.

The results were interesting.

Some were landscapes.
Some were figurative works.
Some were still lifes.
Some were highly unusual contemporary pieces.

What they all had in common wasn’t the subject matter.

They were professionally presented, emotionally engaging, and connected with the right collector at the right time.

In this video, I’ll show you real examples of artworks that sold and what we can learn from them.

Which artwork would you have chosen?

Let me know in the comments.
