Friday’s office wasn’t bad at all. ☀️ Up near Maleny visiting a client, with a little packaging work along the way. Different setting, same attention to the details. A pack can look brilliant on screen. But before it reaches a shelf, someone needs to resolve the materials, finishes, artwork and how everything fits together. That’s the part I really enjoy: figuring out how to make an ambitious idea work in the real world. And it’s where cutting corners can become expensive. The wrong stock, an unsuitable finish or an unresolved artwork detail can mean rework rather than a smooth production run. Good packaging design considers how it will be made, not just how it looks. Still buzzing from yesterday’s @womaninfront_ event at the beautiful @evrarestaurant in Newstead ❤️ I had the pleasure of representing Carl and our newly launched design studio @proof.creative, and what an incredible afternoon it was. A huge shoutout to @lyla_tuwhangai for bringing together such an amazing group of women. It was wonderful meeting so many inspiring people, making new connections and hearing the stories behind the businesses they’ve built. We started with @davvyxx who guided us through breathwork and a moment to reconnect within. I absolutely loved it. I’d love to join one of your retreats next — I might even convince @carloscurcurutos 😂 Then came some incredibly inspiring stories.
