Hello Everyone,

As we prepare to reopen tomorrow, we wanted to share some pictures of our travels with you. So many of you stopped by on our last day to wish us a restful and fun break, and we are happy to report we succeeded at both. Thank you all for your patience, support, and kind words.

Last week, we closed for a day for one of our annual General Assembly meetings! We wanted to share a bit about who we are and what we do!

1: (almost) all of us :) aren't we cute?!?!?
2: all of us, being silly
3: The SWAG Committee - our creativity experts who are currently working hard to design new t-shirts, pins, mugs, and other merch to share with you.
4: The Community Engagement Committee, whose goal is to extend our goodwill to a variety of causes that help uplift our community, including a partnership with the Hollywood Food Coalition and fundraising for LA Compost to repair their Griffith Park Hub compost sifter.
5: Our Board of Directors, who help keep us organized :)
6: The Benefits Committee (minus Sarah! 💓), who help advocate for us and our well-being.
7: The Finance Committee, who help keep our money organized and decide what we should spend on.
8: Our Future Planning Committee, our stewards of the future of the co-op, most recently working hard to organize Pie Night!

Pie night menu is here!!!!! In addition to these three beautiful pies we will also have a special savory hand pie with a filling of mushroom and miso. Our beverage offerings will be limited to exclude espresso but we will have drip coffee, iced and hot teas, and cold brew ☕️ Our very first pie night is this Friday July 31st from 5-8pm, come out to hang and eat some pie and bring your friends and have a good time ✨ by @proofbakeryla

🎤 We spoke with Jess from Proof Bakery to learn why this collaboration is so meaningful to their team. Jess shared that Proof Bakery is committed to intentionally sourcing local ingredients and building strong relationships with local producers. The bakery also has a Community Outreach Committee dedicated to supporting neighborhood initiatives and investing in causes they care about.

We're incredibly grateful to Proof Bakery for partnering with us and to everyone who has stopped by to support the fundraiser so far. We're so close to reaching our goal, and every cookie purchased this Sunday helps make a difference. 💚 by @proofbakeryla

🌭‼️ Running a special this Friday and Saturday only! In store only! Limited amounts, so if you want them come early! All beef hot dogs wrapped in a spiral of our buttery, flaky croissant dough and topped with everything seasoning. Dogs are served up with a side of mustard for some dignified dipping or some disrespectful dunking - whatever your style is 🌭 by @proofbakeryla

THE FLAVOR REVEAL!!!!! Seeing double again? We made an accidental fruit switcheroo on our previous post (if you saw it) and what we meant to say is that our double crust pie is made with peach and pluot.
