Forecast (@forecast.space) was a concept store in Brooklyn connecting cities, nature, and travel. We designed a rotated structure, a “diamond,” in the center of the space that carves out fitting rooms, retail display, and a gallery space.

THE VISITOR CENTER AND ITS GLASS PENDANT is a proposal for the Historic Gropius House in Lincoln, Massachusetts, comprising two structures: a renovated Visitor Center housed within the existing garage, and a new Public Restroom as its pendant.

The two structures are identical in form but inverted in material, designed to be viewed as a pair built eighty years apart. Together they engage in a cross-generational dialogue on material and building technique, carrying forward the Bauhaus spirit of iteration, experimentation, and a future-forward attitude.

A community center for Bowen Island, British Columbia, a place for gathering, recreation, and art under one roof. Set atop a hill among douglas firs, the building extends into the landscape as a way of walking the slopes — connecting harbor to sky, community to land, and the built to the ecological systems it depends on.

Studies for a threshold - stone, light, and a garden at night. We believe a building is most alive at its edges, holding the tension between inside and outside, presence and absence, the known and what lies beyond the frame.

This series, printed on aluminum, explores the spatial and atmospheric qualities that drive the work: focal frames, misty glow, and honed surfaces serve as a constant source of inspiration, pushing the boundaries of representational possibilities and allowing us to evoke and manifest our wildest fantasies. by @props.supply.arch

5th Chicago Architecture Biennial, “This Is a Rehearsal”

 Curated by the interdisciplinary arts collective the Floating Museum (@thefloatingmuseum), the fifth edition of the Chicago Architecture Biennial, “This is a Rehearsal,” took an expansive view of design as an iterative process to explore architecture, cities, and the social, ecological, economic, and political forces that shape them.

Accoutrorama, a fusion of “accoutrements” and “diorama,” scrutinizes the racial violence central to the January 6, 2021 Capitol Insurrection. It delves into the profound impact of architecture and the broader dynamics of spatial politics on the unfolding events. In the context of the overarching theme, “This Is a Rehearsal,” Accoutrorama redefines “rehearsal” beyond its conventional connotation as iterative practice. Here, it alludes to the exceptional discourse surrounding racial violence in America. Rather than a mere rehearsal, racial violence in America is the main act, the norm.

Our installation reconstructs sixty objects that were carried, worn, and wielded that day and includes six dioramas that document the scenarios that played out.

Kin House is a multi-family home in East Williamsburg tucked between two warehouses. Three units are strung together to create spaces for communal living and shared amenities.

The house is organized into a simple grid of rooms, divided by sliding oak doors, enclosed beneath a translucent roof that floods the interior with diffused light. The rooms strike a balance between privacy and interconnectedness, allowing for flexibility in work and play.
