The EMU Black is a class-leading, stand-alone engine management system, designed to operate the most advanced and complex engines available. It is a successor of our proven system, EMU.

Throughout EMU’s lifetime, we collated data that allows us to substantially improve the device hardware and software.

EMU Black targets race cars, road cars, motorcycles, boats, and stationary engine applications.

This particular model is designed as a straight plug-in replacement for the very popular VW 1.8 20v engines. by @prorace.engineering

This VW polo was in due to a cracked rocker cover that was leaking oil. The customer bought a new billet rocker cover which we fitted and then we re constructed the wiring around it. The new rocker cover is not only stronger but also looks really nice! by @prorace.engineering

Not all about the VAG here Pro-Race Engineering

They see the car. They see the lap times. But they don't always see what it takes to get there. 🏁

Countless late nights, endless hours in the workshop, setbacks, sacrifices, and an unbelievable amount of determination have gone into getting this little Clio to where it is today.

What started as a vision has become something we're incredibly proud of.

🏆 FASTEST FWD AT ETAM26

🏆 FASTEST CLIO IN THE UK

🔥 550BHP | 920KG | PURE DETERMINATION

These achievements mean more than just numbers or titles. They're proof that with enough passion, hard work, and the right people around you, even the wildest ideas can become reality.

A massive THANK YOU to all our sponsors and partners who have supported this journey. Your trust, generosity, and belief in what we're trying to achieve make all of this possible. We genuinely couldn't do it without you. ❤️

To everyone who has helped build, develop, repair, improve, or simply believed in this crazy little car, you are all part of these achievements.

And to everyone following the journey, sharing our content, cheering us on at events, and supporting us from the sidelines, your support means more than you know! 🙏

We're proud of how far we've come, but we're nowhere near finished.

There's still more performance to find, more records to chase, and plenty more boundaries to push.

Never stop chasing what seems impossible. 💪

This is just the beginning. 🚀🏁

When we were tasked with building this high revving naturally aspirating 1.6 Lupo GTI bottom end we found that there were no forged rods on the market - so we made our own! We also fitted it with high compression Wiseco pistons, as well as lightening and knife edging the crank.

Drop us a DM if your interested in this kind of build or simply just need a link to the rod listing on our website by @prorace.engineering

Another 02M here, this time being fitted with a 3-6 synchro kit as well as the necessary strengthening upgrades - a more budget friendly way to address the 4th gear weaknesses of these boxes without going for a full gear kit replacement. It was also vapour blasted and powder coated so it looks amazing! by @prorace.engineering

This 4Piston K24 bottom end came to us suffering with a cracked sleeve. We machined it for MID sleeves in house, and rebuilt it using JE Ultra pistons so it can take all the abuse Time Attack can throw at it! by @prorace.engineering

A full 1-6 dogbox built for a customer to be used in Hill climb events. This box was fitted with all new bearings throughout, Gripper limited slip diff, billet aluminium shift fork, and billet shift elements. This is the ultimate upgrade for 02M/02Q gearboxes! by @prorace.engineering

4 Piston Honda B16/B18C/K20/K24 625+ Extreme Duty Head-Studs

These studs are made exclusively for 4 Piston by ARP to be the absolute best for your racing engine. There is no other material on the market better suited for cylinder head clamping. 625+ material is substantially stronger than any entry level 8740 head stud material, and substantially stronger than L19. L19 is subject to hydrogen embrittlement and stress corrosion. Even if handled properly during the assembly process, L19 is exposed to condensation inside a running engine. There is nothing you can do to avoid this. Furthermore, 625+ has a yield strength 17% greater than L19 and 30% greater than 8740.

Build your engine with the absolute best from 4 Piston, and turn the boost up! Make sure you select the correct engine in the drop-down menu.

·Each kit includes a complete set of 625+ head studs, nuts, washers, ARP Assembly Lubricant, and installation instructions.
