Mirror Monday reject pile. These are some of the Walkers I've thought had a chance at ★. They're more PL than your standard Walker but they're not quite there. by @prospectcoins

I had a great time at the Central States show and picked up some coins and even a watch. This coins was clearly the highlight of my purchases. What's really ironic is that @worldclasscoins was telling me about this awesome peace dollar I should have seen. About an hour later I'm buying this coin and Gary happens to be right there and I was like, "hey check this out." And he told me that this was that coin. Crazy how things like that work out. Good seeing my man Joe @greatlakesnumismatics and meeting Armand @detroit_mafia_metals. It was also nice to see a lot of local dealers I know and catch up. Hope everyone is having a great Friday. by @prospectcoins

Happy Toner Tuesday.
I'm posting this because it's one of my best toned Peace Dollars. I'm also posting because this is the design that started it all for me. My dad is a collector of many things. Coins were not his primary passion, but they were one he still exposed me to as a kid. One day he told me to close my eyes and hold out my hands. When I opened them there was a bright, BU, 1923 Peace Dollar sitting in my hands. I had seen Morgan Dollars before, and always found them to be ugly. For whatever reason the Peace Dollar didn't have that impression on me. I was awestruck. The design and sheer size of the coin left a lasting impression. Here we are, 30 years later, and they're still one of my favorite US designs. If my dad had never given me that dollar I may not even have pursued coins. It's interesting to think about little events like that and how they can be a catalyst for something. Happy Tuesday, thanks for reading. by @prospectcoins

Some highlights from a recent @pcgscoin world sub to take advantage of that quarterly special. I've been hearing feedback that the trueviews are not great. They did a pretty good job on these. The Canada one cent is brighter in hand, but that's really my only complaint. Turnaround was fairly quick too. Overall, I'm pretty happy. by @prospectcoins
