I had the honor of meeting the legendary @mclyte last night at Norfolk State Homecoming 🔰 You may know @mclyte as the voice of the BET Awards but did you know #MCLyte was the FIRST female Hip Hop artist to release a full solo album!? 🔥 She also was the first female Hip Hop artist to be nominated for a Grammy for her single "Ruffneck" in '94. Thank you for your contribution to Hip Hop. You are appreciated 🙏🏿🫡

P.S. - I also saw in her Breakfast Club interview that she was supposed to attend @norfolkstateuniversity before her rap career took off. Shout out @nsu_alumni for making this a full circle moment! by @prosperousroots

Man, the #CashMoney #NoLimit concert was one for the books! 🔥The Louisiana/New Orleans culture was on full display yesterday. All the Soldiers, Soldierettes, hot boys and girls were in the building! ⚜️
