We wrapped up October with our “Networking Isn’t Scary!” workshop, where we talked about making genuine connections, leaving lasting impressions and showing up for opportunities. A big thank you to our guest speakers for sharing their experiences and advice with PRSSA! #PRSSALSU #GeauxManship by @prssalsu

A few of our favorite takeaways from this week’s PRSSA meeting with Laura Siu Nguyen! Thank you, Laura, for sharing your experiences, career advice and reminding us that the connections we make matter just as much as the work we do. Swipe through for a few things we wrote down immediately. ✍ by @prssalsu

Ai is changing communications, but the human side of PR still matters most. At this week’s PRSSA meeting, Jared Broussard joined us to talk about how communications professionals can use AI as a tool while still prioritizing trust, credibility and emotional intelligence. One of our biggest takeaways was to think of AI as an assistant. It can help us work more efficiently, brainstorm and handle some of the smaller tasks, giving communicators more time to focus on strategy, relationships and the work that requires a human perspective. We also discussed E-E-A-T and why trust is becoming even more important in a world where content can be created almost instantly. Thank you, Jared, for spending the evening with LSU PRSSA and helping our members better understand where AI fits into the future of our industry! 💜 by @prssalsu
