Building this drystone retaining wall in my garden from granite came from a small idea I had two years ago. I had to learn how to build them so I joined a class over a long weekend in the middle of nowhere, camped out and built a wall for a farmer under the watchful eye of @geogeniclandscapes. This is a granite wall so no shaping of stones. Just waiting for the right stone to appear and fit into each placement. taken in Number Sixteen Beach by @prue.jones
