Access to healthcare is something many of us don't think about until we need it, and it's one of the things I appreciate so much about living in the UAE.

In 12 years of living here, I've never stopped being grateful for moments like this. A routine appointment booked at 7:30am and I was seen by a specialist at 8:00am.

Having worked in the NHS, I know how different the experience can be. I remember calling my UK GP surgery the second the phone lines opened at 8.30am, waiting over 30 minutes in a queue behind 20+ people, only to finally get through and be told there were no appointments left.

Coming from the UK, where routine appointments can sometimes take months, this is something I'll never take for granted. Alhamdulillah. 🇦🇪

I think I've finally found a way to stop my toddler stealing my keys! 😂

Thank you @mumzworldcom for this brilliant activity toy that my 2 and 4-year-old genuinely can't get enough of!

There's so much for little hands to explore, from matching colours and shapes to practising everyday skills. And the best part? They finally have their own set of keys, so hopefully mine can stay where they belong! 😂

Such a lovely gift idea for toddlers, especially if you're looking for something fun that keeps them busy while learning.

Would your toddler love this, or are they still going to insist on YOUR keys? 😂

One of the things I love about living in the UAE is getting to experience these beautiful traditions 🇦🇪

Emirati weddings are so beautiful, special and full of tradition. 🤍 Of course, they're also very private, so the camera stayed away during the celebrations! 🥰

May Allah bless the happy couple with a lifetime of love, happiness and barakah. Ameen! 🤲🏻🤍

Diaries of a 2-year-old living in the UAE 😂 | Part 2

Another busy day of keeping Mum on her toes!

Between supervising Mum, rearranging the house and making sure absolutely nothing goes to plan, it's exhausting being 2! 🤣

Not sure why Mum's always complaining she's tired. Personally, I think I'm an absolute delight.

To all the toddler mums out there… please tell me i'm not the only one?! 😂👇
