POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This is what FilmNet is supposed to be.

Filmmakers asking real questions.

People sharing what they make.

Projects being talked about.

New connections happening in the room.

Last night’s Write It. Make It. Get It Seen. brought the San Diego film community together at Spark Studio for a conversation with Kathy Nicholas, Daniel Harlow, and Preston Barney, hosted by Jordan Jacobo.

And the panel was only part of it.

The demo tables, networking, conversations, and people meeting each other were just as important.

That’s what we want FilmNet to keep becoming: a place where you can bring a project, a question, a skill, or an idea and meet people who might help you move it forward.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the night happen.

Produced by Alex Guillen.

From dreams to big screens—this is just the beginning. Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it! My brother was born to bring stories to life, and tonight, he brought people together to do exactly that. He’s stepping into a dark industry with a mission to shine light through wholesome, quality entertainment—just as he’s dreamed his entire life. Lucky to have a front-row seat, both literally and figuratively! 👏🏼 Here’s a recap of his first film festival premiere! 🎞️🎥🍿 by @ps_barney
