BunguLA Vol 2

What a day it was!!! Simply a well thought out event🥳 Had a good representation of nearly every nook & cranny of the Stationery community!

Also people were 😊 happy, I didn’t hear not one complaint as I walked around and observed as someone who does events.

Bravo @paperplant.co 💓

📣 MARK YOUR CALENDARS, PAPER PEOPLE! ✍🏾📓

November is giving us TWO Pen & Paper Socials, two different locations, two different vibes, and the same enthusiastic stationery-loving host. 🙋🏾‍♀️😂

📚 SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2026 | 6:00PM - 8:00PM
@tbrbooks.claremont | Claremont
A Pen & Paper Social at one of Claremont’s neighborhood bookstores? Books + paper people? YES PLEASE. 📚✍🏾

I’m meeting with the TBR team this weekend to finalize the details, but with November only a month away, I wanted you to SAVE THE DATE now!

Official details and ticket link coming soon.

✂️ SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2026 | 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
@floine_lounge | La Palma
This time we’re gathering inside a beautifully curated stationery shop, and YES, that is Thanksgiving weekend. That’s kind of the point. 😂

Once the turkey has been eaten, the dishes are done, Black Friday has Black Friday-ed, come spend a few hours doing something for YOU.

💌 Bring those holiday cards you’ve been meaning to write.
📅 Crack open that new 2027 planner and start adding dates.
🖍️ Bring your coloring book.
📓 Bring your journal, stickers, pens or whatever paper project you’ve been wanting to spend some time with.
Or bring nothing and just come hang out with people who understand why you needed that new notebook. 😂

No pressure to be productive. We’re slowing down, playing with paper, meeting fellow stationery people and enjoying a little creative breathing room before December comes barreling through the door.

Official event details and ticket links for BOTH Socials will be posted separately.

For now...SAVE THE DATES! 💚
So, where might I see you?

One of the reasons I created The Great Paper Chase is because we have some wonderful stationery shops here in Los Angeles, many with an incredible selection of Japanese stationery.

But stationery is a BIG world. 👀📓

As I’ve been putting together this route, I’ve intentionally looked for independent shops with different personalities. Some will have the stickers, washi, pens and adorable things we all have absolutely no business buying more of 🙄, while others may introduce you to beautiful paper goods, correspondence, creative supplies and things you may not normally encounter on your usual stationery run.

I’m not interested in taking you to seven versions of the same store.

I want every stop to give you a reason to get off the Sprinter.

Next Saturday I’m heading to Ventura to spend some time browsing the two shops I’m considering for our route, and I’m taking you along for the scouting trip. 👀🚐

Okay, my stationery road warriors… I got choo! 😉

If you love exploring stationery shops but rarely make it beyond LA/OC, The Great Paper Chase is for you.

I’ve arranged a private Sprinter for an 11-hour stationery road trip from Culver City → Ventura → Ojai → Santa Barbara, visiting some wonderful stationery shops along the way. 🚐✒️📓

And yes, I chose MLK weekend intentionally. We’re going to need Sunday AND Monday to recover, admire our hauls and explain our spending decisions. 😂

January 16, 2027
Tickets go on sale in November.
Comment 'CHASE' and I’ll DM you the details. 🥸

Limited to 13 Stationery enthusiasts😍

Stationery September ... that’s what I’m calling it, as this entire month is filled with stationery community events. Today - Sip n’ Scrap, I put together some cute raffle prizes with Stationery Stash 🙂 I also have my new Hobonichi 2027 Dayfree and Candy Weeks to plan out some Funanigans throughout the year!🤩
