Took a little time to reflect, little time to settle down. But always and forever grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow with @hockey.alberta and make an impact on athletes as they continue through their careers. The finish wasn't perfect but the experience I had at #WHLCup this year reminded me of how capable and strong I really am. If you ever wonder why I do what I do..check out the smile on my face.

After a few days of settling back into the real world and having time to reflect....what a two weeks it was. PEI, Charlottetown - thank you for the hospitality, warmth and incredible food.

To the Campbell family - thank you for adopting me as one of your own. Somewhere, some time, I think I was the long-lost sibling.

Most importantly - Dave. Thank you for the incredible opportunities over the last few years. You've been an amazing mentor, teacher and friend. You've kicked my ass to dig deeper into this world and launch my career to whichever path it takes me. I appreciate every ounce of support, and equally every single chirp. Farewell St John's, and with the closing of the Games, we have a closing of another chapter of my life.

Unbelievably blessed to get to do this for a living - to work with incredible human beings on both sides, to build and foster connections and to leave every Games with a full heart.

The lacrosse crew held it down in Paradise and of course I managed to find the photographers.

2024, the year of returning to the things I love, and letting go of things I love and leaving a place I love to move to a team I also love. Blessed to do this every damn day.

After 7 years of donning the Blues, my adventures with Team Alberta have officially come to an end. Being able to do this last trip with my mentor and friend @hockeytrainer89 has been an honour and a privilege. The results on the ice and in the standings weren't even close to what we hoped for, but helping to build this program and leave a legacy is something I'll always be proud of. Getting to go out with two of my favourite people on the bench is a memory I'll cherish forever.

Over the last seven years, I've learned so much and grown tremendously. My time with Team Alberta will always be an incredibly proud chapter of my life and my career. The coaches I've worked with over the years, the athletes I've seen move on and flourish, the friends I've made along the way and the skills I've acquired are quite literally what will drive the path of my career.

Dave has been a teacher, a mentor, a friend and a cheerleader for me over the last five years and 5 events. The relationship we've built has grown to look more like siblings than coworkers. It includes matching outfits on the bench, coffee runs, Swiss Chalet outings, too many laughs and even a few tears. It's gone from learning how to sharpen skates to allowing me to mentor to watching me leave the nest (twice) to go out on my own. The travel we've endured just to get to work one last tournament together was worth every single mile. Getting to call this man a friend is an honour I'll never take for granted.
