bringing some colour back to my grid

this is an acrylic painting on board I’d been working on a year or so ago, that somehow made its way to the back of my ‘to do’ pile.

I’ve been getting back to basics with values and other fundamentals more recently (in between life stuff), re-learning mediums like graphite and charcoal, while at the same time trying to teach myself animation and digital art.. so I’m coming back to ideas I’ve had percolating in my little noggin for some time.

Now that the change of season is here, I feel I can dust this one off and give it the attention it deserves.

throwing this one onto the grid since it’s pfp rn

I thought I’d uploaded it already, but guess I hadn’t. A file from 2025 I messed up by drawing it all on one layer only.
I went too far with the doodling and wish I could go back to how it looks here but I guess she is doomed to exist only in motion, within this timelapse.
