It’s hard to find the right words.
At the moment it feels like we’ve lost another special place for our subculture — a space where art, love, and community could grow. My thoughts are with everyone still on site, taking apart something that was built with so much dedication and heart.
There is something painful, and strange, about building a dance floor that no one ever got to dance on. So much vision, work, and love went into creating a place meant for connection, movement, and celebration — and now it exists only in the memories of those who built it.
What makes these spaces special has never only been the location itself, but the people and the spirit they bring. That part remains.
My heart is with everyone feeling this loss. I truly hope this is only a pause, and that new spaces and new moments to gather will come again soon. In the end, I can only ask all of you to support @waldfrieden_official in the battles ahead. Wow — we are still deeply moved by the two beautiful weeks we were lucky enough to spend once again with the @ethereal_decibel_company . It was a real privilege to return and see another version of our Pit vision come to life. Every edition brings us together with people who, over the last 7 (!) years, have become friends.
What you are building is genuinely inspiring. Year after year, you continue to grow — not just in scale, but in good energy, awareness, professionalism, and heart. That is something truly rare.
For us, working in this way feels like being on holiday (despite 50°C in the sun on the cherrypicker) especially when surrounded by amazing people like the whole crew behind @anonymous.substances & @ethereal_decibel_company & all light- and laser-operators who brought this beast to life.

@onelove.festival 2019 was a massive step up for us compared to the year before.
We worked for the second time with the fabrics we had produced the year before – but this time in a completely different shape.

On top, we built a massive wooden stage from scratch, survived a huge storm that tore our canopy apart, and still had an amazing time overall, enjoying the trust and spirit of this gem of a festival.
