Before we go back to drawing, I need to speak my mind and clear the air about something deeply saddening, the terrifying reality that there is no longer a guaranteed safe place for the vulnerable.

I recently saw a heartbreaking courtroom video of a predator who lured a little girl with a doll, and the profound grief in her father’s eyes as his world collapsed is something I can’t unsee. It’s infuriating to know that in many places, these monsters serve a few years and are released to hunt again. This is exactly why I absolutely hate seeing clips of the upcoming movie portraying real-life predator catchers like Chris Hansen as villain, in what universe is a man who actively hunts these monsters the enemy?! That portrayal is absolute trash.

And while I’ve heavily emphasized children, I need to set the record straight, if it’s not consensual, it’s sexual abuse, period. Predators target the vulnerable, which most often includes minors and those who cannot defend themselves. Prayer alone is not enough. I’m calling on all of us to open our eyes, step up, and be the last line of defense. If you see something suspicious, don’t be afraid to demand justice. I put my trust in you, and together, we can build a strong, safe community and make the world a secure place for everyone to thrive.
