What a wonderful weekend @whirl_y_fayre! This is such a wonderful, family-friendly festival full of love, laughter, and quirky little nooks. It was a joy to offer our welfare service to the lovely people of Whirly, and we hope that everyone has a smooth landing back to ‘reality’.⁣

Back in June, we were delighted to provide our 24/7 welfare and harm reduction service @strawberry_fair.⁣
⁣
We offer 1-to-1, person-centred, trauma-informed and empathy-led peer support for anyone experiencing a wide range of challenges, including difficult emotions, substance use and mental health crises.⁣
⁣
Alongside our support service, we create a safe and welcoming space where anyone can come to chat, relax and sit around the fire with a fabulous group of people.⁣
⁣
If you don’t want to be in the thick of the festival, but you’re not quite ready to head to bed, come and hang out with us.⁣
⁣
We’ll be at @peep.festival next weekend, so make sure to pop by and say hi!⁣

We wanted to introduce @psycareuk to Origin Festival 2026. An essential part of the psychedelic scene and a very important cog in the welfare element of this festival and many more we look forward to welcoming the team ahead of next weekend.

To highlight some of the things the team bring to the event:

>> PsyCare support (most people know what we mean by that)
>> Crisis support
>> Intégration support
>> All non medical care

Last month, some of the PsyCare UK team were providing our 24/7 peer-led + person-centred welfare space @thewildwoodfestival! 🌿⁣⁣

You won’t find fluorescent lighting or clinical marquee walls here. We make our space as cosy, vibey, and chill as possible, so the PsyCare UK tent isn’t just somewhere you might end up if you’ve had a big night. It’s also a space to integrate, regulate, and have deep 3am chats around the fire, alongside all of the traditional welfare stuff. ⁣⁣

Our volunteers get 24 hours off between shifts so they can enjoy the festival! Thank you to @fennaphoto for this lovely photo of some of us out and about on the dance floor.⁣⁣

Back in May, we trained 100 new volunteers in harm reduction, non-verbal communication, and connection focused exercises designed to cultivate the positive regard, empathy, and trauma-informed, non-judgemental approach that helps us deliver our signature person-centred welfare support.

The festival season is officially upon us, and we’re excited to see you in a field soon! We were @thewildwoodfestival last weekend we’ll be @originfestivaluk next! Come and say hi and take a look around our welfare space - it’s a vibe.
