How did we get here…waiting for the weekend to (in between chores, cleaning and errands) hopefully (finally) breathe a little?

Somewhere along the way we were taught that rest and play needed to be earned. As if my pleasure is something I have to work hard to achieve…

Gag me now.

Hard f*cking pass. Pleasure is my birthright. It’s yours too. And that’s precisely how I decided to move forward in my life.

Turns out something powerful happens when we allow our spark, joy, pleasure, play, rest a seat at the table alongside duty, work and responsibility.

Where is Libra in your chart? It’s a powerful question worthy of some reflection. Why may you ask? Because Libra’s ruling planet, Venus, is doing a massive rehaul in your life through a myriad of Venusian themes…

We’ve spoken about this a bit and if it feels like I’m beating this drum in, it’s because it’s that important heading into a number 2 year.

Arriving at “i know I’ve been saying I got this, that I can handle this or that I’m on it but honestly, I’m beginning to realize I don’t” is actually a powerful place to be.

The bedrock of lasting change is always going to be blunt truth - you finally arriving at it within yourself.

How brutally honest are you finally willing to get with yourself and your financial affairs, love, relationships, work - healing - and the things you keep avoiding?

It’s true,there are parts of our journey we’re meant to explore and walk through, intimately (with ourselves). But there’s also parts where the most powerful thing you could do is ask for help, reach for a hand, talk to a therapist, see a doctor - ask to be pointed in the right direction.

Until then it’s all too easy to buy into our own b*llshit, our own set of excuses that we play on repeat. God knows how easy it is for us to peddle it - avoidance is real my friend. It’s what keeps us from actually having to do anything.

So we buy ourselves the illusion of more time by selling ourselves the one thing that can keep things at bay - the PROMISE of change seems to taste just as sweet as change itself. Except, it’s not.

They say the snake hisses the loudest right before it dies. Whatever that means, I take it as a powerful reminder of how loud and mighty old habits fight to stay going. To hold on.

In the game of calculating odds (which the mind prefers) a life we already know how to live feels safer than one we’ve yet to explore. Even if it’s “wrong”, even if it feels off - we can navigate it.

Baby, get honest about what you really want. Like brutally honest about it, but also how you’re showing up or not showing up for it at all…at least not in a way that’s conducive to its growth.

You asked, I’m telling. That’s the assignment.

Beyond your own healing, I’d say: take a cold hard look at the systems, relationships and communities you participate in.

Are you helping transform them or unconsciously keeping old structures alive?

If we’ve learned anything from history it’s that revolution often begins in the quietest of places, usually within ourselves.

And to that I also say, I want you to understand that what’s surfacing for you in your private world is also happening against the backdrop of a much larger (and much needed) collective transformation.

I know many of you want to rush to make the discomfort disappear but much of this is actually calling for confrontation. And no, not in a combative, explosive way but in a cold hard truth kind of way.

Much of the “old way of doing things” is being called to question. How is this showing up for you personally?

The undercurrent is doing some serious heavy lifting. Don’t fight it. Get curious about what’s being revealed in your own mental and emotional field.

The work here is both personal and collective. A reminder yet again that the evolution, healing and transformation we are willing to undergo on a personal level has a great impact on the world at large.

Personal transformation doesn’t happen in a vacuum. And maybe you needed that reminder.

The revolution is personal; the transformation - collective and the undercurrent is where it all begins ✨

Psyche x Alchemy turns 3 today! And we’re taking some time to look back, reflect and appreciate how far we’ve come with the awareness that there’s so much beauty in store for us up ahead!

Three years of heart and soulful fire. She’s a spitfire through and through.

Three years ago in the throes of chaos, endings and shakeups piercing clarity found its way into my soul. Three years ago I took a lifetime of magic, alchemy and soulful wisdom and decided to bet on myself when the world around me seemed to want to show me otherwise.

The closing of a door paved the way for me to follow a spark of intuition and finally put into action something profound that lived deep within my soul.

What began as one vision has beautifully and organically unfolded into something far more than just a business. Part calling, part creative sanctuary - a living testament to what happens when we dare to trust our inner magic and truth.

Three years of card shuffles, decoding stars, charts, souls witnessed, shadows explored, stories shared and beautiful humans reminded of the power they’ve always held within themselves.

Three years of marching to the beat of my own drum, of creating from soul and learning - SO MUCH learning!

Behind every reading, post, ritual and offering, every piece of magic I’ve shared with this world; there’s been a whole lot of heart.

October’s here, with it a flurry of all things witchy, including that little nudge to maybe get a tarot reading. Tarot & Psychics 101…here’s what you should know:

Dare I say, anyone can learn how to read tarot - yes that means you & your bestie! A little patience, determination, ritual practice and you can 100% learn the cards.

BUT there’s a difference between your bestie pulling a card for you and sitting in session with a psychic reader. Follow along…

Anyone can read tarot, but not all readers are psychic (clairvoyant • intuitive) Not all psychics use tarot (tarot is a beautiful spiritual tool but I spent my entire life channeling without a single card pull)

All mediums are psychic buuuut not all psychics are mediums.

And when it comes to astrology, anyone can learn it, but not all astrologers are psychic or intuitively guided either.

Still with me? 🤣

I’m gonna say it - having a spiritual reading or session is kind of like dating. You’re not going to connect with every reader, resonate with their energy or delivery. There’s beauty, magic and power in this.

And who you “get in bed with” matters.

Truth? No matter how skilled/talented the reader there’s no guaranteeing you resonate with the reading. That said, there are steps you can take on your end that can and will help you find someone you resonate with:

•Sit with what you’re looking for (Clarity, guidance, healing, closure, connecting with spirit/ancestors/spirit guides?) What’s important to you?

•Ask! You should feel comfortable enough to ask your reader if they’re clairvoyant (especially if this is important to you)

•Watch. A lot of readers post content on social media. You have an advantage here: a preview of how they deliver messages and whether or not that resonates with your disposition. A tough love, shoot it to you straight reader may be what your soul needs but if you’re in a delicate and sensitive state maybe not something you’re quite ready for. That’s ok. Maybe they’re formal and you prefer something with more ease. Are they a doomsday reader, always searching for the negative?

Welcome to this New Moon in Libra where the scales are weighing plenty…

We find ourselves sitting with truth. The scales don’t lie, but we do.

What are your own scales revealing to you at this time? A loaded question as Venus (in retrograde) is the ruling planet of Libra. We’re talking all things value.

Maybe you’ve been telling yourself you’re fine, that you understand - that they’ve been trying, maybe you offer up excuses and explanations on their behalf and convince yourself that if you try a little harder or wait a little longer, bend a little further, eventually things will balance out.

The scales are asking you: at what cost?

Your ritual? Sit with the scales of your own life with radical honesty. Not just what you’re receiving, but also giving and tolerating.

Not just who you love, but who you’re becoming in the process of being with them.

With the peace you’ve managed to maintain and how much of yourself you’ve had to silence to keep it.
