TWIN CITIES 10 MILE — DONE in 1:37!

For the first time ever, I ran the entire 10 miles without walking—and I felt GOOD. Strong, steady, energized, and honestly surprised by just how easy the miles felt.

The energy on the course was unreal. I soaked it all in, trusted my legs, and just kept moving.

I’m so proud of this one. Not just because I finished, but because I felt strong doing it. No walking. No struggling through the finish. Just a really good run.

And a huge shoutout to @tstroik12 and my boys for showing up and cheering loud.

Crossed the finish line giving it everything I had left, with one thought: I’m just getting started. I don’t know if this will be my last race of the year, but I do know one thing—2027 may just be the year of the marathon. 👀🏃‍♀️

Germany ➡️ Minnesota ➡️ Twin Cities 10 Mile

10 days of travel, a flight across the Atlantic, and probably not enough sleep—but the kit is laid out and tomorrow we show up anyway. Jet lag has nothing on me.

Because sometimes the win isn’t feeling ready. It’s showing up and seeing what you’ve got.

Twin Cities 10 Mile. One foot in front of the other.

Good luck to all the runners out there tomorrow! Let’s go! 💪🍁

What a weekend. ❤️

We headed to Atlanta to celebrate the marriage of Andrew and Charlayna, and it was nothing short of incredible. It was so special to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and celebrate a love that is so genuine and joyful. The wedding was absolutely beautiful, filled with laughter, happy tears, and a dance floor that stayed packed all night (I seriously don’t think I’ve ever seen Travis dance that much!).

Our flight home had other plans and was canceled the morning we were set to leave, but it turned into the perfect excuse to spend one more day exploring Atlanta. We visited the Georgia Aquarium, wandered through downtown, and made the most of an unexpected adventure.

Congratulations, Andrew and Charlayna. Thank you for letting us be part of such a beautiful beginning. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness and so many more reasons to celebrate. ❤️

I’ve been thunderstruck. ⚡️

Sunday at noon: Left my house in Minnesota.
5 p.m.: Dinner with my family in Madison, WI.
9 p.m.: Watching AC/DC absolutely bring the house down. 🤘
1 a.m.: Crashed at my sister’s house in Lodi, WI.
4 a.m.: Back on the road.
Monday at 9 a.m.: Sitting at work in Minnesota like none of it ever happened.

A 21-hour adventure for a few hours of rock and roll.

Was it a little unhinged? Absolutely.
Would I do it all over again? Without question.

Some experiences are worth every mile, every lost hour of sleep, and every early morning drive home. @acdc shook me all night long and proved they’re still one of the greatest bands on the planet.

What. A. Night. ⚡️🤘 by @psychlingmomma

13.1 miles. ✔️

Today I crossed the finish line of my very first half marathon at the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon, part of @grandmasmarathon and I’m still trying to put this experience into words.

My goal was to finish in 2:30. I crossed the line in 2:16.

The experience felt amazing, but what I’ll remember most is the incredible atmosphere—the volunteers, spectators, fellow runners, and the energy that carried us all the way along the North Shore.

A huge shoutout to @tstroik12 for cheering me on today and for supporting me every step of the way. Thank you for encouraging me on through the training, helping me prepare, picking up the slack when I needed extra time to run, and creating the space for me to chase this goal. Finishing this race may have been an individual accomplishment, but I definitely didn’t get here alone.

Congratulations to every single runner who showed up today, whether you set a PR, hit a goal, walked, ran, or simply refused to quit. Finishing a race like this takes dedication, courage, and a whole lot of hard work.

So grateful for the experience and the community, but most of all, the finish line.

Here’s to the first 13.1 and whatever comes next. 🏅💙

✨ Pre-race fit check. ✨

Tomorrow I’ll be lining up for my very first 13.1 at the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon.

I’ve spent months training for this moment, and now it’s finally here. At this point, all the hard work is done and there’s nothing left to do except run. I’m excited, nervous, and still not entirely convinced running 13.1 miles sounds like a good idea, but I’m ready to give it my best shot.

See you at the finish line. 🏁🩷

36 today. 🎂

I don’t have it all figured out, but I have these two, and that’s more than enough.

Feeling incredibly grateful for another trip around the sun, for the lessons that got me here, and for the people who make this life so meaningful.

Feeling incredibly grateful after having the opportunity to present at NAMI Minnesota’s Beyond the Baby Blues Conference last week.

I had the privilege of speaking on perinatal substance use disorders and the importance of person-centered, compassionate care for individuals and families navigating pregnancy, postpartum experiences, and recovery.

One of the themes woven throughout the conference was the importance of supporting marginalized communities and recognizing the impact that isolation, stigma, and systemic barriers can have on mental health and access to care. I was especially moved by conversations surrounding Operation Metro Surge and the reminder that meaningful support begins with connection.

As my first conference presentation, this experience was both exciting and humbling. I left inspired by the passion, dedication, and advocacy of so many professionals committed to improving the lives of parents, infants, and families.

A heartfelt thank you to @reed_behavioral_health for supporting me, encouraging me to use my voice, and believing in the importance of this work. And thank you to @nami_minnesota_helps for the opportunity to contribute to such an important conversation.

Grateful to be part of a field that believes in holding hope, creating connection, and ensuring that no one has to navigate their struggles alone. 💜
