Meet my friend brother and talented drummer Yousuf @psykmuso
His family is from Palestina and his stories are as wise as silly. He takes time in a very unique way, even beyond my Andean understanding of time ;)

This is how he sees and reads the arrangements I prepare for the music we play together.

Isn’t it amazing how many creative different ways there are to score and read and visualize ideas

It would not be a worthy tribute event to the legacy of the Doors and memory of Jim Morrison if we didn't pay homage to the timeless style of music, while at the same time showcasing our intention for this experience: to blur the lines between rock 🎸 & rave 🪩 if we did not have a live band along for the ride and rock the Kasbah..err, kerk.

At the intersection of slow melodic techno and psychedelic rock is where Konchord takes the listener on a flight with soulful electronic music. Sometimes soft & tender, sometimes dark & deep, sometimes as bright as the sun, always with an inner compass for harmony and balance. With driving basslines, atmospheres as deep as space, synth melodies for the mind to fly high, and a hint of playful weirdness, Konchord’s music can evoke feelings of traveling in a neon-light spaceship through far-distant galaxies to the deepest core of our being.

The live band is Konsti on keys, synths and vocals, Yousuf Abou-Shabaan on drums, and Felipe Duarte on guitar. The three first met at Kiez Burn in 2019, a Berlin burner event in the spirit of Burning Man, and have been circling each other musically ever since. Since early 2026 the formation has come together fully, playing both as Konchord and as the live band for Felipe Duarte's project Sonido Sur. Fasten your seatbelts as they are just getting ready for takeoff.

🎹🎛️🎤Konchord: Munich-born, Berlin-based live electronic artist. Classically trained on piano and playing bass from a young age, his sound is unmistakably his own and opens doors to deeper levels of concord within yourself.

🎸 Felipe: Colombian musician, storyteller & educator has been based in Berlin for over a decade. His project Sonido Sur is rooted in the indigenous traditions of his roots in Colombia, weaving together music, ceremony and ancestral knowledge

🥁 Yousuf: Over 20 years behind the kit, he is a drummer shaped by rock, heavy metal & electronic music in equal measure: think System of a Down meets Kiasmos.
