One of the biggest competition prep mistakes I see point fighters make is watching film…The WRONG way!

When watching film, it’s important to slow things down, pause, rewatch, and take notes. Then evaluate how to make your skillset a matchup nightmare for your opponent!

Puerto Rico🇵🇷❤️

This trip was about so much more than point fighting.

From San Juan with Fighter Coquí & Josua Cruz, to Aguas Buenas with Chemi & New Stars, and finishing in Cayey with Jose Rodriguez & Kyodai Ryu everywhere I went, I was welcomed with open arms.

What stood out to me most was the hospitality, the conversations, and the genuine willingness to learn and grow. Every group had a hunger to take their point fighting to another level, but even more than that, I felt an incredible amount of respect, acceptance, and gratitude everywhere I went.

I came to Puerto Rico hoping to share my knowledge, but I’m leaving with new relationships, new experiences, and just as much gratitude received as I gave.

Thank you Puerto Rico and thank you to everyone who made this experience amazing. Can’t wait to be back to my favorite place soon.🙏🏻 taken in Puerto Rico by @ptp.coaching

Pittsburgh, PA 📍

Had such a good time out in Pittsburgh with some great people. Big thanks to my dawg @cklos5 for the opportunity, the hospitality, and welcoming me with the Team Kumite family.

Got to share some of my ideas with the high level athletes on Team Kumite. Plus had the chance to get some really good training in with the crew and just hang out and enjoy the weekend.
