Last night, my kids walked back into my arms, and the world made sense again.
There's nothing like that first hug. Holding them close, feeling their little arms wrap around me, breathing them in like I'd forgotten how. The piece of me that goes missing every time we're apart... it just clicked back into place.
Being a father is the deepest part of who I am. Every rep in the gym, every early morning, every hard decision, it all comes back to them. They're not just my motivation, they're my why.
Having them close again lit something back up in me. More drive. More purpose. More fire to keep building, keep growing, keep becoming the man they deserve to look up to.

That little boy had nothing but a dream.
Small town in Serbia. Big ideas. No map, no shortcuts, no guarantee. Just a feeling that there was more out there and that one day he would go and get it.
Today I look at him and I smile. Because he was right.
But here's what nobody tells you. The man standing next to him didn't arrive. He's still building. Still learning. Still getting it wrong some mornings and fixing it by the afternoon.
Life is not a finish line. It's constant and never-ending improvement. Every day a little better than the version of me from yesterday. Not better than anyone else. Better than me. That's it.
So I look back with gratitude. For everything I had, even when it felt like nothing. For everything I have today. And for everything I will ever have, because I already know it's coming.
Gratitude for the past. Presence for today. Hunger for tomorrow.
If you're still that kid with the dream, keep it. Protect it. Then go to work on it every single day.
