Auntie, I miss you so much! Not a day goes by that I don’t miss our talks, our laughs, and you asking me to text you every single picture in my phone. You were so sweet, loving, honest, meek, supportive, faithful, caring, and compassionate. Truly, the best auntie ever!

Life has been so different since you transitioned. Grief is no joke, and some days are harder than others. But I’ll keep pushing forward, carrying your love and all the beautiful memories we shared with me.

God, thank you for letting me see another blessed birthday. Usually I would be out of town, planning a party or dinner. As I’ve gotten older, I just appreciate the simple things in life. I am just grateful for a peace of mind.

My mental health is much better; God’s grace and mercy are still keeping me. For that, I am blessed in many ways, more than one. I am fully committed to staying focused, faithful, and keeping my head up in every situation.

Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing mom and beautiful grandmother. May all moms feel the love they deserve not only today but every day. Heading to church to celebrate my birthday because God is the only one who has kept me. Blessed! I’m the birthday. 🕺🏽

Today is such a beautiful moment. You have worked tirelessly for the last few months, staying on task, being an amazing mom, a corporate America woman. Now you have finally got what you’ve been praying for so long. I am so proud of your willingness to always go after what you want. Your determination is like no other. You are one of the strongest women I know. You inspire me in so many ways, more than one. May the Good lord continue to bless you and this Daycare.
