7/26 was an actual movie. Congratulations to the @novationnights and @tatt_tunes crews on pulling off a super successful TRIPLE STAGE event at one of the most iconic Denver venues in the scene. Casey Wasserman, CEO and Founder of Wasserman Media Group, appears in the Epstein files 89 times. While the artists signed to Wasserman do not have direct control or involvement in this man’s personal behavior, I believe they do have an obligation to hold their management company accountable for the actions of its CEO and founder. To be clear, this is brand new information as of 2 days ago, so the artists on this roster are just finding out about these allegations as well. Again, I am not implying the artists were aware or involved at all. This is a tiny fraction of Wasserman’s roster. They represent one third (33%) of all performing artists in the music industry. This list is just from the electronic genre of their portfolio. The intention of this post is to show how much power and influence Wasserman has in the industry, how much he profits from it, and now this new evidence shows how he spends those profits. We’re changing our logo. Welcome to the new vibe of PK. Every element has been carefully thought out and represents something we deeply care about. Change 1: We closed the eye because here, you are guarded, not watched. In a state of surveillance, we spend time in places that still place weight on integrity and looking out for one another, not looking at one another. Change 2: from handshake to hand heart - the element of the handshake was originally intended to portray partnership and togetherness, but a handshake feels too transactional. Relationships we value aren’t based on deals, but rather on love and collaboration rooted in art. Change 3: Adding the element of barbed wire. It’s confrontational on the surface but intentional at its core. In the plains of rural Nebraska, barbed wire fences run for miles, keeping pastures and fields of livestock separate so they can survive and thrive; but the open space the sharp, minimalistic fences provide lets the wind blow freely and they don’t block the sun. Barbed wire will keep you out and if you’re aggressive and have no respect for it, it can hurt you - but if you approach it gently and with intention, you can get past it unscathed.
