📢 AND THE WINNER IS…📢

@kristen_m2n of @underdogstudios and @officialjuanmontoya took to @pubrocklive to announce the winner of the 2026 @mesamusicfest FREE SONG RECORDING CONTEST

We had a great turnout and we counted the votes. By a landslide we are happy to give the fans what they want. We heard ya loud and clear.

This year’s winner is Awhatukee’s own @splitsignal_band !!!

Congratulations, guys! We are thankful for your participation in the festival this year and cannot wait to hear the finished product!

Good luck on your performance tonight at @alicecooper “Proof is in the Pudding” Battle of the Bands! We know you’ll be a fan favorite.

Thank you Kristen and @rlozano0630 for providing an avenue to truly thank the participants of this year’s festival. Without your endearing support of our music community this wouldn’t at all be possible.

Last night we had the absolute privilege of getting to photograph @danbertnobacon of Chumbawamba fame and of the long honored tradition of resistance art.
“Real” photos and videos will be coming soon, but we just couldn’t help but share this moment of pure joy we captured on one of our phones.

Getting to see local legends @mikeandthemolotovs and @ms__moonlight_lady join Danbert in a raucous rendition of “the song” was one for the ages.

A huge thank you to the amazing Becca for bringing us in on this one, and to all of the talent and staff who made the night possible! Local music lives on because of the hard work of many people! Support them all!
