NEW RELEASE DAY...(and the last one for May, which as been a huge release month)
NMR199 PUDDY KNIFE - FLOWERS E.P.
This one is for me, just for me. @puddyknife make the noise that takes me back to when I was in my twenties. It's a melodic hardcore emo thing, as they say, but it's Leatherface, it's Snuff, It's Buffalo Tom, it's Superchunk, it's Dinosaur Jr, it's just so fucking beautiful. It's just for me... you lot can fuck off!

If you haven’t already, please give @221press a follow. New releases on the way from Running Man and Puddy Knife. Past releases from Hayes Noble and If I Could Just Get Some Sleep. Art from Jon Burns, Erica Parrot, and Rose Noble. Plus shows, buttons, zines, and apparel. Old school DIY approach to helping friends and doing cool shit. More fun stuff on the horizon.

Please welcome Puddy Knife to the Two Two One Press family!

Reanimated from the ashes of Spokane indie rock darlings Loomer, Puddy Knife burst onto the scene in 2022, playing a unique mix that combines the power and speed of 80s post-hardcore, with the chaotic melodies of mid-90s emo punk.

Over the past two years, Puddy Knife has become a staple in the burgeoning Spokane all-ages scene, at home on mixed bills and praised by hardcore kids and indie rockers alike. Puddy Knife is the epitome of DIY punk, blurring genres and bringing the scene together. Two Two One Press is excited to bring you their first formal release this fall.

RIYL: Hüsker Dü, The Hated, Dag Nasty, Rites of Spring, Fuel, Jawbreaker, Garden Variety, Lifetime.
