Hand tied & thread sealed. No “set colors”. Each jig is unique and made on the water.
To throw the jig is to love the jig…

👑 Meet Royal Shadow

We wanted something different.

Royal Shadow is built on a deep phthalo blue base with black flake, giving it a bold, dark look that's unlike anything else in the Backwater Custom Plastics lineup.

It isn't your typical blue bait. The black flake adds another dimension to the color and gives Royal Shadow a look that really stands out in the water.

New color. New look. Same Backwater quality.

👑 Welcome to the lineup, Royal Shadow.

🎣 Built for real water. Built for real bites.

🌿 Color Spotlight: Swamp Gill

Green pumpkin is a classic for a reason, but sometimes a little extra flash can make all the difference.

Swamp Gill starts with a natural green pumpkin base and adds blue flake for a subtle flash that gives this color a unique look in the water. It's a great combination of natural and just enough different to catch a bass's attention.

And we had to pair it with a good jig. 🎣

Big shoutout to Pud Jigs for the hand-tied jig featured in the photo. The craftsmanship on these jigs is second to none, and Swamp Gill makes one heck of a trailer.

Two small businesses, one goal: put more fish in the boat.

🎣 Built for real water. Built for real bites.

Proud of my guys win this weekend! “Fish were on the edge of deep grass and followed the jig to the bottom on the outer edge.”

Tied several baits for Chris for his trip to the Northeast. He caught this fat smallmouth on the Saint Lawerence River with 1 of our Goby patterns on a medium wire football head. Good luck in your tournaments! by @pudjigs

Asking for a “Bluegill Pattern” can be interpreted 100 ways. These 2 were hand tied, thread sealed, and made on the water- as always…

Pud Jig + Backwater “Swamp Seed” craw 💚🔥
Did its job exactly how it’s supposed to — got bit 🎣

Nothing fancy. Just confidence in the bait.
