Boca is 3 years old, weighs 20 pounds, and was originally found as a stray; lucky boy was brought to some caring people at a vet hospital and then eventually landed with us. He arrived with a slight limp so probably got hurt on the streets but the injury has since healed so he is doing great. He has a slight hiccup in his giddy up but it only adds to his charm. Boca is a really sweet pug who adores people, especially after getting to know you. But once that happens, watch out, he is ready to love you in true velcro pug form forever. Boca likes dogs ok, especially mellow ones; we think a trial adoption is the way to go to make sure he's a good match for any existing dog. This endearing little man is looking for a mellow home and a person or family to love. Here is his bio and an application: https://www.pugnationla.org/adoptable-pugs/boca/

T-Bone, now 'Tony', was rescued from a bad situation and delivered to PN. He had some ear issues and needed a neuter, but after we took care of that he was ready to go. Leo and Heather came to adopt and chose Tony, who has fit in well. He loves truck rides and is an official road tripper, adores his new sister, Loosey, and they play all day. Loosey has really benefited from having a new brother and the family is thrilled to have Tony ♥️.

Niblet is a cute little rascal estimated at about 1 year and 3 months old. She was a stray impounded at a shelter and good thing we rescued her when we did because the very next day she had two puppies! They have since been adopted but Niblet is still awaiting a home. She has a slight neurological condition so she is a bit wobbly but it sure doesn't slow her down. She is always ready to play with her doggie friends and especially ready to engage with any person who can show her a good time. Niblet needs an active and patient home as she's still a puppy and will need training and a lot of positive interactions and activities 😊. For those of you out of area that want to come fly her home, she is a perfect flying size! Read more and apply for Niblet here https://www.pugnationla.org/adoptable-pugs/niblet/

This next spotlight comes with the enthusiastic approval of our pugs! Say hello to JustFoodForDogs (JFFD)!

If you’ve been following us for a while, it’s no surprise that we’re BIG fans of JFFD! They generously sponsor our rescue and feed the majority of our pugs. Thanks to their partnership, we can keep our dogs well fed and healthy, and even send our adopters home with two weeks’ worth of transition food!

Our dogs love this stuff, and we think yours will, too! Stop by their booth for samples, treats, and more information. We’re so grateful to JFFD for helping us fill bowls and care for the dogs who need us most!
