Yesterday I took care of a party of 10 people who rented out a floor at the restaurant to do their comedy show/rehearsal and my thoughts on the event are unclear.
On one hand it was probably some of the worst comedy I had ever had to endure. On another hand I’ve never been to a live comedy event before so my standards couldve been unfairly high.
Second slide is a short example of what it was like having to politely laugh at the C-tier punchlines, and this is already one of the better acts in the whole show.
Besides some self deprecating humor from the two younger comics (i’m an english teacher in japan, i’ve been single for 6 years, i like magic tricks so i practice in front of the mirror 3 hours a day haha masturbation joke haha get it etc etc) , there was one guy (5’3, 62 years old, fat and sun damaged) whose entire bit was ahaha im short i have to jump to reach the mic also oooh watch me rub my chest and mention my cock and how big it is arent i disgusting hahaha do u wanna hear another cock joke also i hate my wifeee ahah also my cock is large please laugh.
And then there was another comic whose entire bit was just . I’m a jewish guy from Brooklyn and i hate my bitch wife i cheated on her and i have 2 mistresses in the Philippines who i have to send money to so they can buy a water buffalo also did i mention im jewish and One time i got one of my girlfriends pregnant with twins and I took her to get the abortion and argued with the doctor about the fee because i had to pay for 2 abortions because im jewish so im frugal please laugh also dont we just all hate my wife … etc etc.
