Our Fall event lineup continues with one we can’t wait for… Jordan Tannahill launches The Living Realm at Pulp, in conversation with Alex Nierenhausen, September 24th at 7PM! Playwright and author, writer of shop faves Prince Faggot and The Listeners (among many others!), Jordan’s new novel, set in Berlin, follows a British archaeologist who begins seeing his dead lovers in a cruising forest on the city’s edge. On Sunday, September 13th starting at 10AM, local tattoo artist @loganbeauseigle is setting up a pop up tattoo station at Pulp 😍 This will be a totally first come, first served situation. Our Fall events are kicking offfff…… Join us in welcoming Clara Yeager and Sarah Burgoyne to Pulp to launch their third collaborative poetry chapbook, Take Cover Everyone, on September 10th at 7PM! We love this project so much… Clara, while only in grade 9, has been a collaborator and friend of Sarah’s for over a decade. Each chapbook they produce in the span of three hours, and each title is based on a line Clara has uttered on stage (Yes, Your Majesty, We’ve Lost Our Celebrity, and Take Cover Everyone). The rumours are true! We’re adding a new book club to our current roster, this one a special summer edition for teens 📚 Led by our friend and neighbour Julia Smith-Brake, we’ll be reading two classics over the summer with two meetings to discuss (geared towards teens aged 14-17). Up first is Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451, with discussion night happening July 22nd. Next up is The Giver by Lois Lowry, discussion night August 26th. You can sign up for one or the other or both!
