This process works with all emotions. It's an incredibly helpful framework to help you move what needs to be moved 🌊 instead of suppressing it and keeping you stuck.

Let me know if you've found it helpful. 💛 by @pulse.somatics

As home as the somatic universe feels to me — I probably have to admit it's still quite niche. Many people don't have a clear picture of what somatic coaching actually is, so I tried to sum it up in this video.

Bear in mind that this is only a general overview. Of course every session is tailored to your needs & level of experience.

𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞:

{ 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 }
Breathwork, guided movement, dance, self-touch, parts work, embodiment practices like exploring archetypes, the 4 elements or eco-somatics

{ 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 & 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 }
This is your space. You bring whatever is alive for you. I'm here to listen, offer a non-judgmental space, ask questions or gently challenge you whenever it feels needed.

{ 𝐍𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 }
Understanding our physiology and survival mechanisms tends to unlock deeper self-awareness and empathy for ourselves and each other. So I love to weave these small educational units in.

𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐭, I'll share personal experiences when I feel it benefits your process — perspectives shaped by navigating life as a highly sensitive, neurodivergent, queer human being who has experienced PTSD themselves.

I've been through my fair share of struggles. And I'll remind you often: this capitalist, patriarchal, misogynistic system is responsible for so many of our shared struggles. It's not your fault. It has never been.

𝐈'𝐦 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞.

You deserve to feel safe & expansive in your body.

You are so much more powerful than you think.

Let's tend to those roots of resilience and equip you with an unshakable bond with yourself, so you always have solid ground to return to.

With warmth,

I've curated the Anxiety Relief Toolkit as a bundled collection of exercises that I use as foundational practices in my somatic coaching sessions. This way, clients who complete 1:1 work leave with tangible tools they can take with them — practices that support them in everyday life whenever they need them.

At the same time, it's a wonderful and accessible way to get a first taste of somatic work if it's new to you, or to receive instant support when you most need it.

Sometimes we just need a reliable way to find our footing again — a practical guide that helps us move out of a freeze state or a vortex of negative thoughts. 🌀

That's exactly what the Anxiety Relief Toolkit is there for. 🤲🏼

Sometimes you just need to put on a juicy tune while you stand on a mountain, connect with the elements, feel the wind on your skin, the moss on your feet, move your longing & remember/sense that you too, are an elemental, unstoppable force of nature. 🐺🦅🔥 by @pulse.somatics

To deem the act of sharing this reel a noble contribution to humanity is truly tragic and stupid. And yet, it actually feels like a sensible piece of content in these floods of AI slop, ridiculous self-optimization routines, and never-ending sales pitches of asinine ideologies.
