Stand Against the Letter of Clearance !

Dear Punchers, 🐔

We need your help! We believe that basketball is for everyone and knows no borders. Everyone should have the opportunity to play the game they're passionate about in any country. We're standing up against the 250 CHF fee (~260 EUR) imposed on all international players that want to play competition in a new country, and we need your support!

📝 Sign the Petition: https://www.change.org/LetterofClearance.
(Link also in Bio)

🔗 How Can You Help?
1. *Sign* the petition
2. *Share* the Petition with fellow basketball enthusiasts, friends, and family.

📣 Together, we can make a difference! Let's ensure basketball remains accesible for everyone, everywhere. Sign the petition now and share the love for the game! 🏀❤️

Three games. One opponent. One goal: win them all. We’re bringing everything we’ve got, and we need YOU in the stands making noise. 📣

Loud crowd = better game. Be there, be loud, and help us start strong! 💪

We hope everyone had a great time at the first internal tournament of the year!
It was great meeting all the new members and seeing so many new faces as well as getting to play with old teammates🫶
A special congratulations to the winners and to everyone who killed it in the court.

Look out for the next post with the games for this weekend, a classico might be on the way...👀

Earlier this week, we had a great evening of committee drinks and yesterday we had a super boat party! 🛥🍻
Have these events convinced you to be part of one of our committees? Then you can apply through the link in our bio! The deadline for this is October 11th.

We are very curious about your ideas for the club 🤩 Depending on the amount of applications, we'll make a selection based on what you've filled in. You'll hear from us soon after the deadline! by @punch_basketball

BOAT PARTY 🛥

You had to wait for it a little while, but ticket sale for the boat party is finally live! 🤩 Get your ticket now for only €6 for a whole night of fun! Non-punch members can also join this event for €7.50. And there's a good deal: if your team brings at least a starting five, you can do one round of beers for just €1 a beer 🍻

Location: Thor Boat, Schieweg 18
Date and time: October 3rd, 21.30 to 3.00

You can find the ticket sale on our renewed website! All Punch members have received an email about their log-in to our new environment. This makes it very easy in the future to stay up to date with news, schedules and event. And, of course, claim your discount to events such as the boat party! 🪩

Committee Interest Drinks 🍸
You've shown great interest in joining one of our committees this year! To get to know you and to answer all of your questions, we're organising a casual event at Café Het Klooster in Delft. This will happen on Wednesday the 30th of September, from 8 until late. Feel free to stop by for just some questions, or stay a little longer for a fun evening!

The following committees are open to apply to:

Activity Committee 🪩
The AC organises various events throughout the year. Think of (themed) parties, a pub quiz or anything you would want to see Punch do. No limits!

Merchandise Committee 👕
The merch committee handles merchandise orders, creates new designs or products and promotes their great work!

Tech & Media Committee 🎬
The TM committee manages the technical aspects such as streaming games, as well as the new Punch website and other social media. Write a cool blogpost, or create fun reels for the Instagram!

International Tournament Committee 🏀
Once a year, Punch hosts a big international tournament where all types of teams from the Netherlands come together for a weekend full of games and activities. This needs planning ahead of time, and is very rewarding during the IT weekend!

We hope to see you there! 🍸 If you cannot make the drinks, you can always email us or shoot us a text. by @punch_basketball
